R      1.       Remington Model 10.  Serial # 237418.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun.  19½” barrel choked improved cylinder with a bore that should clean to very good.  No front sight.  The metal is in fair condition with a mostly greyish patina.  There is some original blue showing but there are also some spots of rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and a crack at the butt.  Original butt plate is broken at the heel.  Action works OK.  Made from 1911 to 1929.  (C&R)   Sold For 140.00

R        2.     Felag Arms Co. Model Double Barrel.  Serial # 2752.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in Belgium.  28” barrels choked full and improved modified with bores that should clean to very good.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal is in good condition with the original finish being covered with small dings, scratches, and fine rust spots.  The receiver is a light grey patina with some small faint traces of case color.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition showing wear and small dings and scratches.  A small piece of wood is missing at the top left of the receiver.  European style sling swivels.  Action works OK.  Sold For 220.00

R        3.     Winchester Model 94.  Serial # 1629686.  .32 Win. Spl. caliber lever action rifle made in 1950.  20” barrel with a very good bore.  The metal is in fair condition with wear, scratches, and scattered rust spots, some large.  The receiver is mostly a greyish patina with carry wear on the bottom.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some small dings.  Rear sight is broken.  Action works OK.  (C&R)  Sold For 400.00

R        4.     Remington Model 8.  Serial # 10692.  .35 Rem. caliber semi auto rifle.  22” barrel with a bore that should clean up OK.  The barrel is covered by a full length tube that encloses the recoil spring.  5 shot non-detachable magazine.  Original open sights.  The metal has been refinished a long time ago and is not in good condition.  It has become thin on both the barrel and receiver and is starting to turn brown in some spots.  The stock and forearm do not match and are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Sling swivel stud hole in stock.  Action works OK.  Made from 1906 to 1936.  (C&R) Sold For 400.00

R        5.     Winchester Model 1897.  Serial # 409953.  16 Ga. pump action takedown shotgun made in 1908.  28” barrel choked improved cylinder with a bore that should clean up to very good.  The metal is mostly a brown patina being a little lighter on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with wear.  The forearm was cracked and repaired while the stock has had the pistol grip removed.  Recoil pad installed with a LOP of 13¼”.  Action works OK.  Made from 1897 to 1957.  (C&R) Sold For 260.00

R        6.     L.C. Smith Model O Grade Double.  Serial # 66822.  16 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1912.  26” barrels choked full and full with bores that should clean to very good.  Made by Hunter Arms on the regular frame, this gun was the first serial number produced in 1912.  Double triggers and extractor only.  10% or so of the original bluing remains on the barrels.  There are some areas of cleaned rust and the finish thins as you get to the breech.  The receiver is in very good condition with very faint traces of case color.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good to very good condition with some dings, scratches, and wear.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R) Sold For 280.00

R        7.     Beretta Model S57E.  Serial # 63979.  12 Ga. over/under shotgun made in Italy in 1967.  28” vent rib barrels choked full and improved modified with excellent bores.  This model is the higher quality version of the Golden Snipe and was made from 1955 to 1967.  It features blued barrels and a finely engraved silver receiver.  Double triggers and auto ejectors.   85% to 90% of the bluing remains on the barrels with some dings, scratches, wear, and a few small rust spots.  The checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm are in good condition with mostly scratches and wear to the finish.  Original butt plate.  European style sling swivels.  Action works fine and is tight.  Sold For 650.00

R        8.     Iver Johnson Model Champion.  Serial # 34934.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun made in Canada.  30” barrel choked full with a bore that should clean to very good.  The metal is in good condition with some scratches near the breech and some rust spots that run the length of the barrel.  The receiver also shows some larger rust spots.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with mostly general wear.  Action works but release lever is a little weak.  The screw that retains the release lever spring is too long.  Sold For 55.00

R        9.     Lefever Arms Co. Model Nitro Special.  Serial # 128235.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1923.  28” barrels choked full and improved modified with bores that should clean to very good.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal is in poor to fair condition with dings, scratches, and areas of rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with small dings, scratches, and areas of wear.  The stock is loose.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 130.00

R      10a.   First of a lot of 2: C.J. Hamilton & Son Model No. 27 “The Hamilton Rifle”.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber tip up single shot boys rifle.  15” barrel with a slightly rough bore.  For many years the Model 27 came under the provisions of the National Firearms Act of 1934 as a “short barreled rifle”.  The BATF eventually decided that the Model 27 no longer qualifies as an SBR.  All Hamilton 27’s have long since been exempted from the NFA.  The barrel consists of a brass tube surrounded by rolled sheet steel.  The receiver is also sheet steel.  The metal is in fair condition with a mostly fine, rusty brown patina.  The hardwood stock and forearm are in fair condition with some dings.  The stock has been altered at the wrist and might be a replacement.  Butt plate missing.  Original sights.  Action is extremely loose and the gun must not be fired.  Made from approximately 1907 to 1930.  (C&R)

        10b.   Second of a lot of 2: Belgian Made Single Shot Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .22RF caliber single shot rifle.  22½” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  The metal is a total dark brown patina with areas of medium pitting.  The hardwood stock is in fair condition with scratches and general wear.  Front and rear sights missing.  Action does not work. Sold For 130.00

        11a.   First of a lot of 2: English Made Percussion Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. black powder percussion shotgun.  30½” barrels with rusty bores.  The metal appears to have been cleaned and is mostly in the white with some rust spots and areas of fine pitting.  There are also areas of cold blue.  The hardwood stock has been refinished and is in fair condition with damage at the front wedge pin, which is missing.  Action does not work properly as the right hammer is loose.  Includes the ramrod. 

        11b.   Second of a lot of 2: W. & C. Scott & Son Model Percussion Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. black powder percussion shotgun made in England.  30” barrel with dusty bores that are in good condition.  The metal is a light brown patina with a few dings on the barrels.  The checkered walnut stock is in very nice condition with a few dings.  Action on both hammers is still crisp.  The gun is marked on the lower tang with the firm's trade mark consisting of a tower with a flag, representing The Tower on Bagot Street in Birmingham.  Includes the ramrod.  Sold For 250.00

        12.     E. Whitney Model 1841 “Mississippi” Percussion Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .54 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  33” barrel with a dirty bore that could clean up better.  Lock is marked “E Whitney US, N Haven 1849”.  Rear tang marked 1850.  The metal is still in the white and is in very good condition with some dings and marks.  The brass pieces are in very good condition.  The wooden stock is in good condition for its age with various dings and a sliver of wood missing at the top wrist.  Rifle appears complete including the ramrod which is correct with its brass trumpet shaped head.  Action works OK.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.  Additional Photo Sold For 2,400.00

R      13.     Ward’s Western Field Model 50.  Serial # NSN.  16 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  28” barrels choked full and modified with very good bores.  The left barrel is dented.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal is in good condition with scratches and fine scattered rust.  Some case colors are visible on the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and a chip missing in the lower pistol grip.  The stock is also cracked at the wrist.  Recoil pad with a LOP of 14”.  Action works fine and is tight.    Sold For 90.00

R      14.     Remington Model 700 BDL Varmint.  Serial # 303520.  .243 Win. caliber bolt action heavy barrel varmint rifle made in 1967, the first year of production.  24” barrel with a dirty bore that should clean up better.  The metal is in good to very good condition with some muzzle wear and some scratches scattered over the surface.  The checkered walnut stock is in fair to good condition with many dings and scratches.  Original aluminum butt plate.  Adjustable sights added.  Action works fine.  Includes a Tasco 3X to 9X power scope in Weaver flip mounts.     Sold For 750.00

R      15a.   First of a lot of 2: Manhattan Arms Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 44311.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  28” rolled steel barrels choked modified with very good bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  Sidelocks marked “Manhattan Arms Co.” and “The Interchangeable”.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some dings, scratches, and small rust spots.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with moderate wear and areas of repair at the wrist.  Action works OK.  (C&R)

R      15b.   Second of a lot of 2: Wm. Moore & Co. Model Hammer Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  29½” barrels choked full and modified with rough bores.  Uses the under lever Lefaucheux system of locking.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with scratches, some wear, and some pitting.  The walnut stock in in poor condition with multiple areas of repair at the wrist.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 180.00

R      16.     Remington Improved Model 6.  Serial # 502784.  .22 RF caliber single shot boys rifle.  24” round barrel with a bore that should clean to very good.  The metal is in poor condition with a rusty brown patina.  The wooden stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings and scratches.  The stock is cracked at the wrist and is loose.  Original sights.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 110.00

R      17.     Remington Model 1917.  Serial # 565597.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle.  26” barrel with a very good bore.  This rifle has been sporterized.  The metal has been refinished and is in fair to good condition.  The barrel had a rust spot that was cleaned while the receiver has turned to a coppery color.  The Herter’s walnut sporter stock is in good condition with some heavy scratches.  Adjustable sights.  Sling swivels.  Action works OK. Sold For 200.00

        18a.   First of a lot of 2: Unknown Maker Model Pocket Navy.  Serial # 1475.  .36 caliber black powder percussion revolver.  5½” octagon barrel with a rusty bore.  The metal is a pitted rusty brown patina.  The brass frame is in poor condition as are the wooden grips.  Action does not work.  This lot includes a tattered double case with 3 bullet molds.

        18b.   Second of a lot of 2: Unknown Maker Model Pocket Navy.  Serial # NSN.  .36 caliber black powder percussion revolver.  5¼” octagon barrel with a rusty bore.  The metal is a pitted rusty brown patina.  The brass frame is in poor condition as are the wooden grips.  Action does not work.  This lot includes a tattered double case with 3 bullet molds.         19a.   First of a lot of 2: C. Clement Arms Model 1851 Navy.  Serial # 107340.  .36 caliber black powder percussion revolver made in Belgium.  7¼” barrel with a rusty bore.  Very little of the original nickel finish remains on the metal.  It is mostly rusty and pitted.  The grips appear to be horn and are in poor condition.  The gun is missing screws and the action does not work.  Includes a vintage red velvet hard case.

        19b.   Second of a lot of 2: Unknown Maker Model Flintlock Pistol.  Serial # NSN.  .45 caliber black powder flintlock pistol.  9” barrel with a fair bore.  Most likely assembled from a kit.  The metal is in fair to good condition with a brown finish on the barrel.  Brass trigger guard and a pewter type butt cap.  Wooden stock is in good condition.  Under barrel rib is loose.  Action works OK.   Sold For 425.00

        20a.   First of a lot of 2: Starr Arms Model 1858 Army.  Serial # 58.  .44 Caliber black powder percussion revolver.  5” barrel with a rusty poor.  The metal is mostly a pitted rusty brown patina.  The wooden grip is worn hard, chipped, and cracked.  Action does not work. 

        20b.   Second of a lot of 2: Unknown Maker Model Pepperbox.  Serial # NSN.  .22 caliber black powder percussion 4 barrel pistol.  2” barrels.  The gun is made of brass and only needs some polishing to look good.  The wooden grips have a couple of dings and the action works.  Includes a small ramrod and a small case.     Sold For 260.00

R      21.     DWM Model 1909 Argentine Mauser.  Serial # D7840.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle made in Germany.  24” barrel with a rough bore.  The metal is in fair to good condition with some fine rust on the receiver and bolt.  The stock has been cut and is in very good condition.  Handguard is missing.  Bolt handle bent.  Action works OK but safety is a little stiff.  Numbers on the metal match, stock does not.  Includes a leather sling.  Sold For 240.00

R      22.     Winchester Model 1897.  Serial # 198902.  16 Ga. pump action takedown shotgun made in 1903.  28” barrel choked full with a bore that should clean up to very good.  The metal is mostly a greyish brown patina with very little original finish left.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in very good condition with a few scratches.  Original butt plate.  Action works OK.  Made from 1897 to 1957.  (C&R) Sold For 260.00

R      23.     British Made Model No. 4 MK I.  Serial # B30989.  .303 British caliber bolt action rifle made in 1944.  25” barrel with a bore that should clean up to good.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in good condition with slight wear.  The stock has been refinished and cut down.  It is in good condition but does have a crack at the butt.  The handguard is missing.  Magazine is missing.  Action works OK.  Includes a leather sling and swivels. Sold For 180.00

R      24.     Savage Arms Fox Model BSE.  Serial # A007194.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1968.  28” vent rib barrels choked modified and full with bores that should clean up to very good.  It appears that the barrels might have been trimmed approximately 1/16”.  Single trigger and auto ejectors.  The metal is in fair to good condition with some dings and rust spots on the barrels.  The receiver shows some wear spots near the breech.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings and scuffs.  LOP is 13 5/8”.  Action works fine.  Made from 1966 to 1988. Sold For 290.00

R      25.     Winchester Model 1894.  Serial # 172459.  .32 Win. Spl. caliber lever action rifle made in 1899.  24” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  This gun has had it’s barrel, magazine tube, and forearm replaced with pieces from a Model 64.  The finish on the receiver is mostly bare but the rest of the metal shows a lot of small rust spots.  The forearm is in good condition with dings and flaking finish.  The buttstock with crescent butt plate is probably original to the receiver and is in fair condition with some dings.  It has also been sanded.  Front and rear sights are present.  Redfield receiver sight installed.  Action works OK.  Includes a set of sling swivels.  (C&R) Sold For 250.00

R      26.     Marlin Model Glenfield 30.  Serial # AD46200.  .30-30 Win. caliber lever action rifle made in 1968.  20” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  2/3 length magazine tube.  The metal is in fair condition with some bare spots, some rust, and some pitting.  The hardwood stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with dings and scratches.  Extra finish has been applied.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Sold For 240.00

R      28b.   Second of a lot of 2: Janssen & Son Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 8440.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in Belgium.  30” Damascus barrels choked modified and improved modified with slightly rough bores.  The right barrel is dented 4” from the muzzle.  The finish on the metal has turned completely to a brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm show dings, scratches, and a lot of wear.  Action works but along with the hammers is loose.  (C&R)      Sold For 140.00

        29.     Springfield Armory Model 1873 “Trapdoor” Rifle.  Serial # 4489.  .45-70 caliber single shot rifle.  32½” barrel with a rough bore.  Lock marked “U.S. Springfield” with no date.  The finish on the metal is a roughish, brown patina with some light to medium pitting.  The stock is in fair condition with some large dings and scratches.  Breech block stamped “MASS”.  Action works OK.  Includes a leather sling and the cleaning rod.  Sold For 320.00

        30.     Harpers Ferry Model 1816 Flintlock Musket Type III.  Serial # NSN.  .69 caliber black powder flintlock rifle.  42” round barrel with a slightly rusty bore that could clean up better.  Lock marked “Harpers Ferry 1836”.  Tang marked 1837.  The finish on the metal is a rough, brown patina with areas of fine to medium rust.  The stock is in fair condition for it’s age with some large dings and scratches.  There are seven silver stars, a silver eagle over a banner, and a silver cherub mounted on the stock.  They are not inlayed but applied to the surface.  Action works and the gun appears to be complete including ramrod.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.   Additional Photo Sold For 1,350.00

        31.     H. Deringer Model 1817 Percussion Conversion Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .54 caliber black powder percussion conversion rifle.  36” barrel with a rusty bore.  Lock marked “US Deringer Phila 1842”.  Tang marked 1843.  Most of the metal is in the white and was probably cleaned a long time ago.  The stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.  Action works and the gun appears to be complete including ramrod.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.   Additional Photo Sold For 700.00

        33a.   First of a lot of 2: Wilson Model Percussion Double.  12 Ga. double barrel black powder percussion shotgun made in England.  31” barrels with rusty bores.  The top rib is separating from the barrels.  The metal is a blotchy brown patina with some areas of fine rust.  The stock is in fair condition with dings and scratches.  It is cracked at the front wedge pin.  Action works OK.  Includes the ramrod.

        33b    Second of a lot of 2: W. Parker Model Percussion Double.  12 Ga. double barrel black powder percussion shotgun made in England.  28” barrels with slightly rusty bores that could clean up better.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with the barrels mostly in the white and the locks with some cleanable fine rust.  The barrels look like they were cleaned and the rib was soldered at the muzzle.  The checkered walnut stock is in fair condition with dings, scratches, finish loss, and some missing wood.  Left hammer will not stay cocked.  Includes the ramrod.    Sold For 250.00

Barker Model Cape Gun.  Serial # NSN.  .360 Express caliber/12 Ga. side by side combination rifle/shotgun made in Belgium. 30” Damascus barrels with very good bores.  The metal is mostly in the white and appears to have been cleaned long ago.  There are several spots of fine rust starting on the barrels.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with some dings and scratches.  Extra finish has been added.  Front and rear sights added to the barrel rib.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 850.00

R      36.     Mossberg Model 183D-C.  Serial # NSN.  .410 Ga. bolt action shotgun.  23” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  The barrel features the Mossberg screw on choke system and comes with a full choke.  Internal magazine.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with a lot of bluing but there is a very fine rust covering the surface.  The wooden stock is in good condition with some dings and scratches.  Action works OK.     Sold For 150.00

        38a.   First of a lot of 2: Unknown Maker Afghan Style Jezail.  Serial # NSN.  .65 caliber black powder flintlock rifle.  48” barrel with a rusty bore.  Jezails were originally handmade by Afghans during their fight against the British in the 19th century.  The finish on all of the metal parts is mostly a brown patina.  The crude wooden stock is broken in numerous places.  The hammer is frozen.  

        38b.   Second of a lot of 2: Barton & Co. Model Percussion Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. double barrel black powder percussion shotgun made in England.  38” barrels with rusty bores.  The finish on the metal is mostly a brown patina with areas of fine rust.  The checkered walnut stock is in fair condition with dings, scratches, finish loss, and some missing wood.  Left hammer will not fully cock.  Includes the ramrod.   Sold For 190.00

R      39.     Savage Arms Model 24D.  Serial # C070764.  .22 RF caliber/20 Ga. 3” over under combination rifle/shotgun made in 1963.  24” barrels with bores that will clean to excellent.  Shotgun barrel is choked modified.  The original blue finish on the barrels is in excellent condition with just a few scratches near the scope ring grooves.  The case colored receiver is in very good condition with good colors.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition with just a few marks.  Original sights.  Plastic trigger guard is broken.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 375.00

        41.     Remington Model No. 1 Rolling Block Military Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .43 Spanish caliber single shot rifle.  35” barrel with a rough bore.  The metal is a rough brown patina with a fine to medium rust with pitting.  Some areas have been cleaned long ago.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with heavy wear and missing slivers of wood.  Original sights.  Action works OK.  Gun appears to be complete except for the cleaning rod.         75.     S.M. Shilitto Model Pennsylvania Long Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .40 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  Double set triggers.  40” octagon barrel that tapers from 1.25” across the flats at the breech to .97” at the muzzle.  The finish on the metal is a slightly rough brown patina.  Brass parts include butt plate, patch box, trigger guard, nose cap, and ferrules.  The full length stock is in fair condition and has some carving near the butt.  There is some wood missing at the lock.  Two silver inlays on the stock.  Action functions but the hammer is loose.  The Shilitto family settled in Franklin County, PA about 1740.  Upon his father’s death in 1852, S.M.         76.     J. Henry & Son Model Percussion Fowler.  Serial # NSN.  20 Ga. black powder percussion shotgun.  35” half octagon/half round barrel.  Both lock and barrel marked “J. Henry & Son”.  The finish on the metal is a greyish, brown patina.  The walnut half stock is in good condition with normal wear.  Silver nose cap.  Action works OK.  The J.         77.     Unknown Maker Model Percussion Fowler.  Serial # NSN.  20 Ga. black powder percussion shotgun.  33½” half octagon/half round barrel.  The lock is marked “H Elwell Warranted”.  Henry Elwell was a lock maker in Seneca County, Ohio, c. 1810 to 1812.  The finish on the metal is a rough brown patina with some medium rust near the muzzle.  The full length stock is in fair condition with wear and some wood loss near the lock and at the muzzle.  Toe of stock was broken and repaired.  Brass butt plate, trigger guard, lock plate, and ferrules.  Various other pieces of brass decorate the stock.  Action functions.  Sold For 160.00

        78b.   Second of a lot of 2: Smith & Wesson Model 1.  Serial # 21132.  .22 RF caliber single action tip-up frame spur trigger revolver.  3 3/16” barrel with a rusty bore.  The steel barrel and cylinder are a brown patina while the silver plated brass frame is a dark, tarnished finish.  The wooden grips are in good condition with some small dings and scratches.  Action works but the barrel and frame connection is loose.  Made from 1860 to 1868. R    138a.   First of a lot of 2: Remington Model 700 Custom Heavy Bench Gun.  Serial # E6885397.  7mm Remington Ultra Magnum caliber bolt action bench rest rifle.  32” heavy stainless steel barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a really heavy bench rest rifle built by Mark King Rifles to most likely shoot the 1000 yard heavy gun class.  As stated above, Mark King has built a lot of the record breaking rifles used in 1000 yard bench rest shooting.  The barrel measures approximately 1.25” at the muzzle.  Action is a long action that has been trued with a SAKO type extractor installed.  Longer bolt handle installed.  Bolt release installed on the left side of receiver.  Custom trigger with a smooth, very light trigger pull.  The rifle utilizes a machined aluminum stock.  Long Picatinny rail scope base.  Rifle is in excellent condition.  Includes Redding reloading dies, brass, and loaded ammo.

      140.     Tryon Model 1841 “Mississippi” Percussion Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .54 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  33” barrel with a rusty bore.  Lock is marked “Tryon US Philada. Pa 1848”.  The metal is a brown patina with fine to medium pitting.  The pitting is heavier in the breech area.  The brass pieces are in fair condition and are heavily tarnished.  The wooden stock is in poor condition with wood damage at the butt.  Rifle appears complete but ramrod is not correct.  Action works OK.  Total made by contractor Tryon was approximately 5,000.   Sold For 900.00

      141.     Remington Model 700 ML.  Serial # ML009347.  .54 caliber black powder in-line muzzleloading rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  This gun uses the #11 percussion cap for ignition and is stainless steel with a black synthetic stock.  99% of the original matte finish remains on the metal with a few small marks on the barrel and trigger guard.  The black synthetic stock is in excellent condition with little wear.  Original sights.  Includes the ramrod, nipple wrench, and an extra nipple.  NOTE: The gun is missing the complete bolt assembly. Smith Model Field Grade.  341329.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1913.  30” barrels choked full and improved modified with slightly rough bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  There is no original finish left on the metal.  It is mostly a brown patina with large areas of fine to medium rust.  The walnut stock and handguard have been heavily sanded and are in poor condition.  The forearm has a sling swivel stud hole and is cracked while the stock was cracked and repaired.  Action works OK and is still tight.  (C&R)   Sold For 80.00

Model Western Six-Shooter.  Serial # 35274.  .22 RF caliber single action revolver made in Germany.  5½” barrel with a very good bore.  This revolver is made of alloy with steel barrel and cylinder inserts.  The black finish on the metal is in fair condition with wear along the leading edges of the muzzle, ejector rod housing, and cylinder.  There is also wear on the top and side of the frame.  The plastic imitation stag grips are in fair condition with the right grip being cracked and repaired.  Action works OK.  Importation ceased in 1968.  Sold For 120.00

R    165.     Mauser Model P-08 Luger.  Serial # 3408c.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  Marked 1940 above the chamber and 42 on the toggle.  Proofed with the Waffenamt WaA655 and with all matching numbers including the magazine.  90% to 95% of the original bluing remains on the metal.  There is some wear on the muzzle and on the high edge of the side plate on the left side.  There is also a little bit of wear on the back of the grip frame.  The checkered walnut grips are in very good condition with very little wear.  They are correctly numbered to the gun with the correct WaA655 proof.  Both grips have a supposedly 24K gold officer’s eagle inlayed in the upper portion of the grip.  The magazine has a black plastic base and is marked fxo with the WaA37 Waffenamt.  The base, however, is cracked.  The action works fine on this gun.  Also includes a black leather holster marked Schambach & Co. 1941 with the police eagle proof.  There is a name in the holster that reads Klingenberg.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.  (C&R)  Additional Photo's 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6 Sold For 2,400.00

Card Model Percussion Target Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .32 caliber black powder percussion youth size target rifle.  14” heavy octagon barrel with a rusty bore.  Barrel measures 1” across the flats and uses a false muzzle for loading.  Double set triggers.  The surface of the metal was pitted and is now covered with a dark brown patina.  The walnut butt stock has a cheek piece on the left side and is in fair condition with dings and cracks.  LOP is approximately 12”.  Globe front sight.  Action works OK.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.   Additional Photo Sold For 400.00

      197.     Unknown Maker Model Percussion Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .60 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  26½” part octagon/part round barrel with a good bore.  This appears to be a European, possibly German, made Schuetzen type target rifle.  There is some scroll work and writing on the barrel.  The finish on the metal is a light brown patina.  The walnut stock is a 2 piece and has a large cheek piece on the left side along with a carving of a game scene.  There are numerous brass inlays and a brass butt plate and trigger guard.  Adjustable rear sight.  Double set triggers.  Action does not work.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.   Additional Photo Sold For 400.00

      198.     Spanish Made Model Springfield Hawken.  Serial # 173864.  .50 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  28” octagon barrel with a very good bore.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some fine rust on the barrel surface along with some wear near the breech.  The hardwood stock is in very good condition with a few dings and scratches.  The brass butt plate, trigger guard, nose cap, and ferrules will polish out nicely.  Action works OK.  Includes the ramrod.  Sold For 90.00

R    199.     Colt Model New Service 1909 U.S.M.C.  Serial # 25664.  .45 Colt caliber double action revolver made in 1910.  5½” barrel with an excellent bore.  Butt marked “U.S.M.C. No. 664”.  The Marine Corp purchased approximately 1,200 to 1,300 of these New Services revolvers from Colt in 1910.  20% to 30% of the original finish remains on the metal.  The barrel shows some small dings and an area of cleaned rust along with some muzzle wear.  The frame has been lightly cleaned on both sides near the grips.  The grip frame, trigger guard, and top strap are mostly bare with a light brown patina.  The cylinder shows some small areas of fine rust.  Nitre blue is still visible on the top of the hammer and on the trigger.  The checkered walnut grips are in fair condition showing normal wear.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Additional Photo   Sold For 2,000.00

R    200.     National Ordnance Model 1903A3.  Serial # 5018551.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle made c. 1970.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  These guns were made up years ago using an after-market receiver with surplus GI parts.  Remington barrel dated 8/44.  The arsenal type finish is in excellent condition showing very little wear, however, there are a few spots of rust on the barrel bands.  The walnut stock is in excellent condition with little wear.  The black synthetic handguard is in excellent condition with no wear.  Action works OK.  The gun is complete including the front sight hood.  Sold For 300.00

Model 2 Pepperbox Pistol.  Serial # 19121.  .30 RF caliber breech loading 4 shot pepperbox pistol.  3” barrels with slightly rough bores.  Features a 4 barrel cluster that slides forward for loading and a rotating, hammer mounted firing pin.  The finish on the barrels is a greyish patina with some areas of deteriorating metal.  The brass frame has lost all of it’s original silver plating and has a light tarnished appearance.  The walnut grips are in good condition with normal wear.  Action works but the hammer function needs to be looked at.  Made c. 1859 to 1874.  Sold For 325.00

Model Martini-Henry Mark II.  Serial # NSN.  .577-450 MH caliber single shot lever action rifle made c. 1880.  33¼” barrel with a slightly rough bore that could clean up better.  The metal is in poor to fair condition with a pitted surface that is now covered with a brown patina.  The stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings and repairs to both.  The stock appears to have been sanded heavily at the butt plate.  Action works OK.  This gun is one of several thousand Martini-Henrys that have been imported from Nepal over the last decade.  The gun is complete including the cleaning rod.      Sold For 210.00

      206b.   Second of a lot of 2: Marlin Model No. 32 Standard.  Serial # 7424.  .32 RF caliber single action spur trigger revolver.  3” barrel with a rough bore.  Brass frame, tip up barrel, bird’s head grip frame, and rosewood grips.  Portions of the original nickel finish remain on the metal with large areas of corrosion and rust.  The rosewood grips are in good condition with wear.  Action works OK.  Approximately 19,500 made from 1875 to 1887.  Sold For 200.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
