         1.      East India Company Pattern E Musket.  Serial # NSN.  .76 Caliber black powder percussion musket made in Great Britian.  39” barrel with a smooth, dark bore.  The metal, which was probably issued in the white, is a completely rough, brown patina.  The stock shows years of use and exhibits many dings, scratches, and a crack.  Brass parts are in good condition.  Lock works.  Ramrod present.  Manufactured during the mid 1800’s. Sold For 280.00

R        2.     CZ – C.A.I Model 52.  Serial # K10349.  7.62x25mm Tokarev caliber semi auto pistol made in Czechoslovakia.  4½” barrel with an excellent bore.  8 round detachable magazine.  98% plus of the arsenal finish remains on the metal with a little bit of edge wear in several spots.  The brown bakelite grips are in good condition showing a little wear.  Action works fine.  Includes an original holster, cleaning rod and extra magazine.  (C&R)     Sold For 325.00

R        3.     Astra – I.A.C. Model 400/1921.  Serial # 84346.  9mm Largo caliber semi auto pistol made in Spain.  6” barrel with a good bore that might clean up better.  9 shot detachable magazine.  95% plus of a refinish remains on the metal with scattered areas of wear and small rust spots.  The checkered wooden grips are in fair condition showing wear.  Action works fine.  Includes an extra magazine.  (C&R) Sold For 320.00

R        4.     Astra Model Cadix.  Serial # 77106.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver made in Spain.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  9 shot swing out cylinder.  Adjustable sights.  90% plus of the original nickel finish remains with some slight scratches and areas of discoloration especially on the right side of the frame.  The faux pearl grips are in very good condition with just a few small scratches.  Action works fine.  Made from 1960 to 1968.   Sold For 240.00

R        5.     Taurus Model PT 1911 AR.  Serial # LCM59240.  .38 Super caliber semi auto pistol made in Brazil.  5” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a 1911 style pistol in a black polished finish with gold enhancements.  9 shot detachable magazine.  Fixed sights.  Rail on receiver.  Beavertail grip safety.  Extended thumb safety.  Checkered grip frame and mainspring housing.  99% of the black polished finish remains on the metal.  The plastic grips are in excellent condition.  Action is tight and works like new.  Gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the plastic case, instructions, cleaning tools, and 3 extra Taurus 9 shot magazines.   Sold For 550.00

R        6.     Pioneer Arms – I.O. Inc. Model PPS43-C Pistol.  Serial # H36680P.  7.62x25mm Tokarev caliber semi auto pistol made in Poland.  10” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a semi auto only Polish made version of the Soviet PPS43 submachine gun that was used in WWII.  It has a non-functioning folding stock which classifies it as a pistol.  35 round detachable magazine.  Made of mostly stamped steel, the gun is in excellent condition and appears to have been fired very little if at all.  Includes the original box, sling, magazine pouch, cleaning rod, and 3 extra magazines.  Sold For 400.00

          7.     British Enfield Pattern of 1853 Artillery Carbine Third Model.  Serial # NSN.  .577 caliber black powder carbine.  24” barrel with a dark bore.  The lock is dated 1861 and this is the third model which featured 5 grove rifling and an improved rear sight.  Almost all of the metal has been cleaned and is now bare.  The stock has extra finish over top of dings and scratches.  It is cracked badly in a couple of spots.  Lock works OK.  Includes the altered ramrod. Sold For 600.00

          8.     Godfrey & Welsh Percussion Fowler.  Serial # NSN.  .64 caliber (approximately) black powder percussion fowler.  42” barrel with a dark bore.  The barrel and lock are mostly rusted with a brown patina.  The brass trigger guard and butt plate are in fair condition.  The stock is in poor condition with a couple of large cracks.  Lock is not working properly.  Ramrod is included.  Godfrey & Welsh were Albany, NY gunmakers.  Gun should not be fired as is.   Sold For 300.00

R        9.     Savage Arms Model 3.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber single shot bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with a good bore that could clean up a little better.  The finish of the metal shows wear and is almost completely covered with a fine haze of rust.  The aluminum trigger guard is missing most of it’s black paint.  The hardwood stock is in poor condition missing the majority of it’s finish and showing what looks like a large crack but may be just a deep scratch.  Action works fine.  Made from 1933 to 1952.  (C&R)  Sold For 50.00

        10.     U.S. Pistol Co. Model Spur Trigger Revolver.  Serial # 930.  .22 RF Short caliber single action revolver.  2¼” barrel with a rusted bore.  30% to 35% of the original nickel finish remains with areas of finish loss and rust.  The replacement wooden grips are in fair condition and don’t fit too well.  Action works OK but the cylinder is a little loose.  The gun should be examined by a gunsmith before being fired.   Sold For 60.00

        11.     Cimarron Firearms – Uberti Model Open Top Navy.  Serial # X01489.  .44 Colt caliber single action revolver made in Italy.  7½” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  99% of the original finish remains on the metal.  The brass grip frame and trigger guard are in excellent condition.  Faux case colors on frame and hammer are fine.  Grips are in excellent condition.  Action works like new.  Includes the original box. Sold For 425.00

R      12.     Navy Arms – Uberti Model 66 Carbine.  Serial # 39142.  .38 Spl. caliber lever action rifle made in Italy.  19” barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  98% of the bluing remains on the barrel, magazine tube, and lever with just a couple of small areas of wear.  The brass frame and butt plate are in very good condition with a few handling marks.  The walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with one small impression on the stock.  The rear sight does not stay down.  The action works but the hammer will not cock.  The gun must be fixed by a gunsmith before firing.  Sold For 450.00

R      13a.   First of a lot of 2: Hopkins and Allen Model Single Shot.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  32” Damascus barrel with a slightly rough bore.  The metal is rusted in some spots and is completely brown.  The stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and loss of finish.  Action is a little loose.  The gun must not be fired with smokeless ammunition.  (C&R)  

R      13b.   Second of a lot of 2: J. Stevens Arms Model Single Shot.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  32” barrel with a bore that will clean up to very good.  The metal is rusted in some spots and is almost completely brown.  The stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and loss of finish.  Original butt plate.  Action is very loose.  The gun must not be fired until being checked by a gunsmith.  (C&R) Sold For 50.00

R      14.     Winchester Model 12.  Serial # 1156519.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1948.  28” barrel choked modified with a dirty bore that should clean up to excellent.  80% of the original bluing remains on the metal.  The barrel shows areas of wear, especially at the muzzle.  The receiver shows wear on the top and bottom and also on the edges.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings and scratches.  A recoil pad has been added and the LOP is 13½”.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 350.00

R      15.     German BCD (Gustloff-Werke, Weimar) Model G43.  Serial # 6331.  8mm Mauser caliber semi auto rifle.  21½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This German WWII semi auto rifle went into production in early 1944 at an armaments factory in the Buchenwald concentration camp compound.  BCD, being one of the 3 initial contractors, was the only small arms factory directly under Nazi party control.  The small “starburst” stamp on the receiver signifies this.  All BCD rifles had milled steel receivers.  In mid 1944, the R.A.F. hit the G43 production building inside the Buchenwald compound and production ceased.  Less than 50,000 rifles were produced before the raid making the BCD G43 the scarcest of all the manufactures.  This gun was produced in the first run as there is no letter suffix after the serial number.  The gun was brought in by the family of the vet who brought it back from Europe.  The gun is in very good, all original condition.  Threaded muzzle cap is there along with the cleaning rod.  The sling is still in excellent condition.  The only thing missing is the front sight hood.  At some point in it’s life, whether here or overseas, the metal and wood were covered with a protective coat of varnish.  It shouldn’t be too hard to remove it.  Action functions fine.  Includes the 10 round magazine.  An interesting piece of history.  (C&R)  Additional Photo's 1; 2  Sold For 3,400.00

R      16.     German BNZ (Steyr-Daimler-Puch) Model 98.  Serial # 6020a.  8mm Mauser bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with a very good bore that should clean up better.  This rifle was sporterized.  The bolt handle has been replaced.  A sporter stock has been installed.  The receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts.  The metal is in very good condition retaining it’s wartime finish.  The Interarms checkered stock is in very good condition with just a few dings.  Action works fine.  Includes a Charles Daly 3X to 9X power scope in Redfield mounts and a leather sling.  The scope power adjustment does not work.  Sold For 400.00

R      17.     J.C. Higgins Model 33.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber pump action rifle.  24” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  The barrel and magazine tube are in good condition with dings and spots of rust.  The receiver is good but shows a lot of wear from the forearm pumping action.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with the usual dings and scratches.  Original sights.  Action works fine but is a little stiff.  Includes a J.C. Higgins Rifleman 4X power scope in a Weaver tip off mount.  Sold For 180.00

R      18.     Savage Arms Springfield Model 850.  Serial # NSN.  .22RF caliber semi auto rifle.  24” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  Detachable magazine.  The majority of the finish on the metal is gone and the surface is covered with a fine rust.  The wooden stock is in good condition but shows much finish loss.  Original sights.  Action works fine.   Sold For 95.00

R      19.     Remington Model 870 Wingmaster.  Serial # S081139V.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1969.  28” vent rib barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  95% of the original bluing remains with some dings, some small rust spots, and some areas of wear.  The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition but show some dings and scratches.  Original red recoil pad.  Action works fine.   Sold For 375.00

R      20.     Harrington & Richardson Model 088.  Serial # BA426327.  .410 Ga. single shot shotgun.  25” barrel choked full with an excellent bore.  98% of the original finish remains with a couple of scuffs on the barrel and receiver.  The hardwood stock and forearm are in very good condition with only a few small dings.  Action works like new.   Sold For 190.00

R      21.     Harrington & Richardson Model Sportsman.  Serial # M4491.  .22 RF caliber top ejecting double action revolver made in 1952.  6” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  9 shot cylinder.  Adjustable sights.  85% of the factory bluing remains on the metal.  There are some large stain/light rust marks on the barrel and frame.  The checkered wooden grips are in very good condition with a couple of dings on the bottom.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 375.00

R      22.     Winchester Model 1897.  Serial # 641685.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1917.  28” barrel with a very good bore.  The barrel is marked as having a modified choke, but there is a Poly Choke installed.  Not much of the original finish is left on the metal.  The majority of it has turned brown and the receiver is almost bare.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition showing many dings, scratches, and some extra finish.  Original butt plate.  Action works OK.  (C&R)    Sold For 325.00

R      23.     British Enfield Model No. 1 SMLE MK III*.  Serial # B5194.  .303 British caliber bolt action rifle.  25” barrel with a very slightly rough bore that should clean up better.  This rifle has been modified from it’s original configuration.  The front of the stock has been cut off and the upper forearm removed.  Original sights remain.  The metal is in good condition with it’s military type finish.  The stock is in fair condition showing dings, extra finish, and a missing brass butt stock marking disc.  Detachable magazine.  Action works fine.  Includes a leather sling.  Sold For 160.00

R      24.     American Derringer Corp. Model 1.  Serial # 107959.  .357 Rem. Magnum caliber over/under stainless steel derringer.  3” barrels with excellent bores.  99% plus of the original brushed finish remains with only some slight marks from the action release lever.  The laminated wooden grips are in excellent condition with no wear.  Action is tight and the gun appears to have been fired very little if at all.  Includes the original snap case.  Sold For 350.00

Model IJ70-18AH Makarov.  Serial # RT01740.  9mm Makarov caliber semi auto pistol made in Russia.  3½” barrel with an excellent bore.  Adjustable sights.  10 shot detachable magazine.  99% plus of the factory finish remains on the metal.  The plastic thumb rest grips are in excellent condition with no wear.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little if at all.  Includes the original box, papers, and cleaning tools.  Sold For 300.00

        26.     Colt Model 1851 Navy Fourth Model.  Serial # 101124.  .36 caliber black powder single action revolver made in 1861.  7½” octagon barrel with a slightly rough bore but good rifling.  There are traces of original bluing on the metal, especially under the loading lever.  Most of the finish, though, has turned grey to a light brown.  The edges on the octagon barrel are still sharp except up at the muzzle.  There is no scene on the cylinder.  The frame, hammer, and lever show very faint evidence of case colors.  The silver plated brass frame is in very good condition but has tarnished in some spots.  The front of the grip frame appears to be polished.  The bottom of the grip frame has no silver plate left as it has been engraved with the following script: “Lieut.-Col. Singleton 77th Mississippi”.  The varnished walnut grips are in good condition with some small dings and missing varnish.  All numbers match.  Good screws.  Action works fine but the cylinder is a little loose.  Includes a Colt Factory letter stating that they were unable to locate any information on the gun.  A fine old commercial Navy.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition. Additional Photo Sold For 4,000.00

R      27.     Colt Model U.S. Army 1917.  Serial # 175414.  .45 ACP caliber double action revolver made in 1919.  5½” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  The gun is marked on the butt “U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 No. 29557” and on the underside of the barrel “UNITED STATES PROPERTY”.  There are a couple of small scuffs on the barrel and some fine surface rust on both sides of the frame.  Otherwise, 95% plus of the original unpolished military finish is intact.  The original walnut grips are in very good condition with just a few small dings.  GHS inspectors stamp on frame.  Action is tight like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  (C&R)  Additional Photo Sold For 1,150.00

R      28.     Colt Model Single Action Army.  Serial # 41895SA.  .44 Special caliber single action revolver made in 1966.  7½” barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  75% to 80% of the original bluing remains on the metal.  Most of the wear is on the muzzle area of the barrel, the ejector rod housing, the cylinder, and the grip frame.  There are case colors visible, but the majority are starting to fade away.  The original hard rubber grips are in very good condition.  Action works great.  Good screws.  A total of 830 of these 2nd generation blued guns were made in this caliber and barrel length.  Additional Photo Sold For 1,800.00

R      29.     Colt Model Single Action Army.  Serial # 11610SA.  .38 Special caliber single action revolver made in 1957.  7½” barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  90% of the original bluing remains on the metal.  Most of the wear is at the muzzle, on the ejector rod housing, and on the cylinder.  The case colors on the frame are still vivid.  The original hard rubber grips are in excellent condition.  Action works great.  Good screws.  A nice old Colt.  A total of 3140 of these 2nd generation blued guns were made in this caliber and barrel length. R      31.     Smith & Wesson Model 48-4.  Serial # 25K0822.  .22 WMR caliber double action revolver made in 1978.  6” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  Adjustable sights.  80% of the original bluing remains on the metal with muzzle wear, scratches on the barrel, and some rough spots on the trigger guard, frame, and cylinder.  Case colors are visible on the hammer and trigger.  The checkered target grips are in good condition with a lot of scratches and dings.  Action works fine.  Sold For 675.00

R      32.     Cimarron Firearms – Uberti Model 1885 Hi Wall.  Serial # S07283.  .38-55 Win. caliber single shot rifle.  30” octagon barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  99% of the original bluing remains on the barrel and butt plate with only a small wear spot on the barrel top near the receiver.  The case colored receiver and lever are in excellent condition.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition with only a few handling marks.  Double set triggers.  Adjustable front sight.  Tang rear sight.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original box. Sold For 1,100.00

R      33.     Fausti USA Model Caledon.  Serial # FA00053.  12 Ga. 3” over and under shotgun made in Italy.  28” barrels with excellent bores.  Automatic ejectors.  Single selective trigger.  The barrels feature screw in chokes and come with 2 full chokes, 2 modified chokes, and 1 cylinder choke.  The barrels have a vent rib between them and also on top.  99% plus of the bluing remains on the barrels.  The silver receiver and trigger guard are finely engraved and show no wear.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with no marks.  LOP is 14 3/8”.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the case, papers, DVD, and the aforementioned choke tubes and wrench. Sold For 1,200.00

R      34.     Weatherby Mark V Varmint Master.  Serial # S2955.  .224 Weatherby Magnum caliber bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  Made in West Germany by J.P. Sauer.  99% of the original high gloss bluing remains on the metal with just a few tiny wear marks on the trigger guard.  The deluxe walnut stock features a rosewood tipped forearm and pistol grip and skip line checkering.  The stock is in excellent condition with just a few very tiny wear marks.  Original Weatherby rubber butt pad.  Action works like new.  Includes a vintage Bausch and Lomb Balvar 2.5X to 8X power scope in the B&L mount.  A fine gun.   Sold For 1,850.00

R      36.     SAKO Model Riihimaki Deluxe.  Serial # 49774.  .222 Rem. Magnum caliber bolt action rifle made in Finland in 1961.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  95% plus of the original bluing remains with most of the wear being on the barrel. The deluxe walnut stock features a rosewood tipped forearm and pistol grip and skip line pressed checkering.  The stock is in good condition but there are some dings and areas of wrinkling finish.  Original sling swivel studs, front sight, and hood.  Recoil pad added with a LOP of 13½”.  Action works fine.  Includes a Leupold Pioneer 8X power scope in Leupold mounts.   Sold For 1,200.00

R      37.     Ruger Model No. 1-S Medium Sporter.  Serial # 133-13618.  .218 BEE caliber single shot rifle made in 1994.  99% plus of the original bluing remains on the metal.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition showing no wear.  Original rubber butt pad and front sight.  Original sling swivel studs.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes a Leupold 24X power AO target scope in see through mounts.  The original rear sight and Ruger rings along with the original box are also included.  Sold For 1,350.00

R      38.     Winchester Model 52.  Serial # 22045.  .22 RF caliber bolt action rifle made in 1932.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  This rifle has been modified into a customized sporter.  The barrel has been turned down to a “Featherweight” type contour.  The metal is in 99% plus condition showing no wear.  The semi-fancy walnut stock is nicely checkered and has a steel Model 70 type butt plate.  It features a nice satin finish and is in excellent condition with only a few small handling marks.  5 shot detachable magazine.  Action works great.  Includes a Weaver T-10 target scope in Kwik-Site mounts.  (C&R)  Additional Photo Sold For 600.00

R      39.     Iver Johnson Model M1 Carbine “50th Anniversary”.  Serial # AA69287.  .30 M1 Carbine caliber semi auto rifle.  18” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  This is a copy of the U.S. M1 Carbine and is in the standard military configuration.  Operating rod is marked “1941-1991 50th Anniversary”.  15 round detachable magazine.  The metal is a grey Parkerized finish and is in excellent condition.  The aftermarket walnut folding stock is in excellent condition with no wear.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original walnut stock and sling.   Sold For 650.00

R      40.     Browning Arms Model 12 Limited Edition Grade 1.  Serial # 02150NM872.  28 Ga. pump action shotgun.  26” vent rib barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  99% plus of the original bluing remains with no wear.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition also showing no wear.  Action is tight like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original box and papers.  Total manufactured was 7,000 from 1991 to 1992.   Sold For 900.00

R      41.     Western Field Model Champion.  Serial # W39646XG.  20 Ga. single shot shotgun.  28” solid rib barrel choked full with an excellent bore.  Made by Iver Johnson for Montgomery Ward.  75% to 80% of the original finish remains on the metal with some thinning finish and many areas of fine scattered rust.  Some case coloring is visible on the frame.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with a few scratches and dings.  Original butt plate.  Automatic ejector.  Action is tight and works fine.  Manufactured from 1912 to 1941.  (C&R) Sold For 160.00

R      42.     Mauser Model 1896 “Broomhandle”.  Serial # 389090.  7.63mm Mauser caliber semi auto pistol made in Germany.  5½” barrel with a slightly rough bore with good rifling.  50% to 60% of the original bluing remains on the metal with large areas of very fine rust.  The original wooden grips are in good condition showing usual wear.  All numbers on the gun match including the grips.  Original lanyard ring.  Action is tight and works like new.  An original wooden shoulder stock is included along with a reproduction holster and tool.  Made circa. 1915 to 1921.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.  (C&R)  Sold For 1,550.00

R      43.     German Walther AC 45 Model P.38.  Serial # 3468c.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol made in 1945.  5” barrel with a bore that should clean up to pretty good.  Made by Walther, this gun has all mismatched parts, all with the “c” suffix.  Most "c" block AC45's have mismatched parts because they were produced postwar for the American servicemen who captured the factory on April 9th of 1945.  The frame, slide, and barrel each only have 1 acceptance mark.  85% to 90% of the wartime finish remains on the metal with some high edge wear and a few very small rust spots.  Hammer is in the white.  The Bakelite grips are in very good condition with little wear.  Action works fine.  Includes an original late war magazine with no acceptance mark.  (C&R)  Sold For 725.00

R      44.     Colt Model New Service.  Serial # 327388.  .45 Colt caliber double action revolver made in 1928.  5½” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  85% to 90% of the original bluing remains with wear at the muzzle, wear on the cylinder, and some fine rust on both the front and back of the grip frame.  The hammer shows a little discoloring on the right side.  The original grips are in good condition with a couple of chips on the bottom.  Action is tight and works fine.  (C&R) Additional Photo Sold For 1,110.00

Model Commando Mark 45.  Serial # 60335.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto rifle.  16½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This gun was styled after the Auto Ordnance Thompson submachine gun.  Blowback action and detachable magazine.  This rifle is the nickel plated version of which few were made.  The nickel is in excellent condition but does show a few small blemishes.  The forearm and pistol grip appear to be made of a synthetic wood material and are in very good condition.  The butt stock is made of wood and is in very good condition.  Action works fine.  Includes the sling, a soft case, and a total of 2 magazines.  Made from 1969 to 1976. Sold For 600.00

Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 9757.  12 Ga. double barreled hammer shotgun made in 1877.  30” Damascus steel barrels choke modified and cylinder with excellent bores.  Both barrels have some small dents.  Standard extractors.  The breech locking system is a push bar type called the “’Lifter Action”.  The barrels are plain twist and are covered with a light brown patina.  The Damascus pattern is still very visible.   The receiver and hammers show traces of case colors.  The checkered fancy walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with some dings and scratches.  Action and hammers work fine.  This is a nice example of an antique Parker.   Sold For 1,550.00

R    125.     Eduard Kettner Model Double.  Serial # 23401.  16 Ga. double barreled shotgun made in Germany.  29½” barrels choked modified and improved modified with clean but slightly rough bores near the chambers.  Double triggers.  Extractors only.  The barrels are marked “Eduard Kettner Coln-Suhl”, Mechanische-Gewehrfabrik”, Marke “Rhenus”, “Special-Gewehr-Lauf Stahl”, “Fried,Krupp A.G. Essen.”, and a 3 ring symbol.  From the information I could find, Eduard Kettner was a dealer of fine goods.  The barrels show proofs that would tend to date the gun to the 1950’s.  However, I am not sure and the prospective buyer should do further research.  The barrels show about 90% of the bluing with areas of slight wear.  They are engraved where they meet the receiver.  The silver finished receiver is in very good to excellent condition.  It is heavily engraved showing relief engraving on the top and bottom.  The finely checkered fancy walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with only a few small marks.  Long lower tang.  LOP is 14”.  Action is tight and works fine.  Includes snap caps.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the overall condition. Additional Photo's 1; 2    Sold For 1,300.00

      128.     U.S. Springfield Model 1888 Trapdoor.  Serial # 527533.  .45-70 Govt. caliber single shot rifle.  32½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a pretty nice example of this model Trapdoor and would enhance any collection.  90% of the original bluing remains on the metal.  There is a fairly large area of brown patina up at the front sight.  Possibly from being in a rack?  There are some minor scratches on the trigger guard.  The case hardened breech, marked 1884, and tang show good traces of the case colors.  U.S. marked butt plate is a mottled brown.  The walnut stock is in very good to excellent condition for it’s age.  There are a few dings and impressions, but not too bad.  Very good “SWP 1891” cartouche on the left side.  Circle “P” on the bottom of wrist.  13. Sauer & Sohn Model Drilling.  Serial # 132978.  16 Ga. x 16 Ga. over 9.3x72Rmm double barreled shotgun/rifle combination gun made in Germany.  26” barrels with very good bores that will clean up better.  Barrels are marked “Fluss Stahl” and “Krupp Essen”.  Wide rib with a folding rear sight.  There is a lever on the right side of the receiver that cocks the rifle barrel.  In front of that lever it is marked “D.R.P. 78411”.  That is the German patent number for the cocking mechanism.  The finish on the barrels has turned a mostly brown patina.  There are some wear marks and some very small spots of rust.  The receiver, trigger guard, and release lever are nicely engraved and show very faint traces of case colors.  Cocking indicators on the side of the receiver.  The checkered fancy walnut stock and splinter forearm and in very good to excellent condition with only a few marks.  Original butt plate is cracked.  Original sling swivels.  Action works fine.  An above average example of a German drilling.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the overall condition.  (C&R) Additional Photo's 1; 2  Sold For 1,900.00

      146.     Forehand & Wadsworth Model Center Hammer.  Serial # 3029.  .41 RF caliber single action revolver.  2” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  5 shot cylinder.  Marked “Swamp Angel” on the top strap, these were made circa 1870’s.  75% to 80% of the original nickel finish remains on the metal with some wear on the frame and some small rust spots scattered about.  The original wooden bird’s head grips are in good condition with a few dings.  Action works fine.  A pretty decent example for it’s age.  Sold For 250.00

Model 1891 Argentine Mauser.  Serial # N3876.  7.65 Argentine caliber bolt action rifle made in Germany pre-1898.  24” barrel with a rough bore.  Both the barrel and the stock have been cut down on this rifle.  The metal is mostly brown with some very fine rust and some heavier rust.  The stock is dark and shows many scratches and dings from decades of use.  Bolt matches receiver and is turned down.  Action works fine.   Sold For 170.00

R    236.     Savage Arms Model Springfield 311.  Serial # T4138.  12 Ga. double barreled shotgun.  32” barrel choked full and modified with good bores that could clean up a little better.  Double triggers.  Extractors only.  10% of the original finish remains on the metal with the balance being either bare or a fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition being discolored, having finish loss, missing pieces of wood, and being cracked.  Action works OK.  Rear trigger is shorter than it should be.   Sold For 50.00

R    237.     Japanese Type 99 Short Rifle.  Serial # 34885.  7.7mm Japanese caliber bolt action rifle.  26” barrel with a good bore that should clean up better.  Made at the Kokura Arsenal, this rifle is complete except for the top cover and the mum is not ground.  The finish of the metal parts is total brown patina with some areas of light rust.  The wooden stock and forearms are in worn, military condition with a piece of wood missing on the one forearm.  Action works OK.  The bolt number does not match the receiver.  Includes the cleaning rod, monopod, bayonet, and a Rock Island Arsenal 1903 sling.  (C&R)     Sold For 375.00

Model 59/66 SKS.  Serial # L-468212.  7.62x39mm caliber semi auto rifle.  20” barrel with a very good bore that could clean up better.  Equipped with a grenade launcher and sights and a bayonet.  The arsenal finish on the metal is in good condition showing normal handling wear.  The wooden stock and handguard are in good condition with normal wear.  Action works fine.  Imported from the late 90’s until 2008.  One of the better versions of the SKS.  (C&R) Sold For 475.00

Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant.  Serial # 65225.  7.62x54Rmm caliber bolt action rifle.  29” barrel with a good bore.  Made in 1934 by the Izhevsk arsenal.  The arsenal finish on the metal is in good condition with the normal areas of wear.  The stock and handguard are in fair condition having been refinished and show dings and scratches.  Original sights and cleaning rod.  Bolt number matches receiver.  Action works fine.  Includes a bayonet.  (C&R) Sold For 225.00

      243.     Italian Model 1870/87 Vetterli-Vitali Rifle.  Serial # CF8188.  10.35x47Rmm caliber bolt action rifle made in 1884.  34” barrel with a very good bore.  The bluing on the barrel and magazine is in good condition with scattered rust throughout.  The receiver and other parts were in the white and show areas of brown patina.  The stock is in good condition showing a refinish and only a few dings.  Original sights and cleaning rod.  Action works fine.  Includes the bayonet.   Sold For 500.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
