R      1.       Russian – C.A.I. Model 91/59 Mosin-Nagant.  Serial # PM1038.  7.62x54Rmm caliber bolt action rifle.  20” barrel with a very good bore.  Dated 1942.  This is a shortened Model 91/30 rifle that was arsenal converted to Model 38 configuration.  This is one of the many Mosin-Nagant rifles that have been imported in recent years.  95% plus of the arsenal type finish remains on the metal with only small areas of wear.  The wood is in good to very good condition with some scratches, dings, and worn finish.  Action works fine.  The gun is complete minus the sling.  (C&R) Sold For 150.00

R        2.     J. Stevens Arms Model Springfield 87A.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  Tubular magazine.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with some cleaned rust at the muzzle and some small areas of worn finish.  The aluminum trigger guard has some wear in the finish.  The walnut stock is in good condition with small dings, scratches, and worn finish.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  (C&R)   Sold For 85.00

R        3.     DOU 44 Waffenwerke Brunn Model 98.  Serial # 6205S.  8mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle made in Czechoslovakia in 1944.  24” barrel with a very good bore.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in good condition with areas of wear.  The laminated wood stock and handguard are in fair condition with some large dings and a heavy gloss finish.  Parts do not match.  Action works OK.  Gun is complete except for the cleaning rod and sling.  Includes a bayonet and sheath.  (C&R)   Sold For 250.00

R        4.     Japanese Model Arisaka Type 38.  Serial # 0078227.  6.5mm Japanese caliber bolt action rifle.  19” barrel with a good bore.  Made at the Kokura Arsenal.  The arsenal finish on the metal is in good condition with normal areas of wear.  The wooden stock and handguard are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Some areas have been refinished.  Dust cover intact.  Mum has been ground.  Action works OK.  Gun is complete except for the cleaning rod and sling.  Includes a bayonet and sheath.  (C&R) Sold For 280.00

R        5.     Ruger Old Model Blackhawk.  Serial # 30-11841.  .357 Magnum/9mm Luger caliber single action revolver made in 1969.  6½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This 3 screw revolver still has the original action parts and has not been converted to the new transfer bar ignition.  95% plus of the original finish remains on the metal with some muzzle wear and some scratches on the ejector rod housing.  The original walnut grips are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Action works fine.  Includes the original box, papers, and an extra 9mm Luger cylinder not correctly numbered to the gun.  Sold For 475.00

R        6.     Colt – C.A.I. Model 1911A1.  Serial # 1136018.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto pistol made in 1943.  5” barrel with a good bore.  This is an imported pistol that has been refinished.  Detachable magazine.  The grey Parkerized finish is in excellent condition with only a few small dings.  The brown plastic grips are in very good condition with a little bit of wear.  Action works fine.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.  (C&R)   Additional Photo Sold For 900.00

R        7.     Iver Johnson Model TP25.  Serial # EE00980.  .25 ACP caliber semi auto pistol.  2¾” barrel with a very good bore.  This is a small frame pistol designed by Erma-Werke in Germany.  7 round detachable magazine.  Hammer block safety in slide.  95% of the original blue finish remains on the metal with high edge wear on the slide and some wear on the grip frame.  The original black plastic grips are in very good condition with just a little wear.  Action works fine.  Includes an extra magazine.  Made from 1981 to 1982.  Sold For 160.00

R        8.     Glock Model 21.  Serial # ACC201.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto pistol made in Austria.  4½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a Gen 2 police turn in gun that was rebuilt on 6/20/95 and it has the police insignia removed on the right side of the slide.  The original barrel has been replaced with a Lone Wolf barrel.  13 round detachable magazine.  The metal is in very good condition with only slight wear.  The polymer frame is in very good condition with minimal wear.  Night sights are still visible.  Action works fine.  Includes the original black plastic box, the instructions, mag loader, the original barrel, and a Blackhawk SERPA holster.  Sold For 400.00

R        9.     F.W.Heym Model Single Shot Rifle.  Serial # 7153.  .22 RF caliber bolt action single shot rifle made in Germany.  21½” barrel with a very good bore.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some small scratches, muzzle wear, and spots of fine rust scattered about.  The hardwood stock is in fair to good condition with scratches and large area of missing finish.  Adjustable rear sight.  Numbers match.  Action works fine.  Sold For 65.00

R      10a.   First of a lot of 2: Japanese Arisaka Type 99 Short Rifle.  Serial # 11667.  7.7mm Japanese caliber bolt action rifle made at the Nagoya Arsenal.  26” barrel with a good bore.  The metal is in fair to good condition with some of the arsenal finish remaining.  There are areas of very fine rust scattered about.  The mum is intact.  The stock and handguard are in fair condition with many large dings and scratches.  The stock is cut at the front sling swivel.  Monopod missing.  Action does not work as the firing pin assembly is missing.  (C&R)  

R      10b.   Second of a lot of 2: Japanese Arisaka Type 99 Short Rifle.  Serial # 45162.  7.7mm Japanese caliber bolt action rifle made at the Kokura Arsenal.  26” barrel with a rough bore that could clean up better.  The metal is in fair to good condition with some of the arsenal finish remaining.  The mum is ground.  The stock and handguard are in poor condition with many large dings and scratches.  The stock is cracked at the wrist.  Monopod missing.  This rifle is incomplete and for parts only.  (C&R) Sold For 150.00

R      11.     British Enfield Model No. 2 Mark 1**.  Serial # Z01316.  .38 S&W caliber double action only, top break revolver made in 1944.  5” barrel with a good bore.  This has the later Enfield stamp (E superimposed over a D) on the right side of the frame.  Manufactured with the hammer spur and single action lockwork omitted at the request of the Royal Tank Regiment.  The metal appears to have never been finished and looks to be in the white.  Fine to heavy rust is present in various spots.  The Bakelite grips are in good condition with some wear.  Part numbers match.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 210.00

R      12.     Colt Model 1911.  Serial # 705210.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto pistol made in 1924.  5” barrel with a rough bore.  This gun comes unassembled and appears to have most parts.  The metal was worn and refinished in a bright nickel.  You are buying as is. Sold For 350.00

R      13a.   First of a lot of 2: Hopkins & Allen Model Safety Police.  Serial # E708.  .32 S&W caliber double action top ejecting revolver.  3¼” barrel with a fair bore.  The bluing on the metal is in fair condition with a fine rusty brown patina beginning to cover the surface.  The homemade finger groove grips are in fair condition with a couple of small dings and scratches.  Action works OK.  Includes a leather holster.  (C&R) 

R      13b.   Second of a lot of 2: Harrington & Richardson Model American Double Action.  Serial # 139094.  .32 S&W caliber double action revolver.  The original nickel finish on the metal is in good condition with some small scratches and spots of fine rust.  The hard rubber grips are in very good condition with a few small dings.  Action works ok.  Includes a leather holster.  Made from 1905 to 1941.  (C&R) Sold For 90.00

R      14.     Henry Repeating Arms Model H001.  Serial # 635029H.  .22 RF caliber lever action rifle.  18½” barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  This classic lever gun features a blued steel barrel with a black alloy receiver.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with no visible wear.  The walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition showing no wear.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little if at all.  Includes the original box but no instructions.   Sold For 290.00

R      15.     Remington Model 1100.  Serial # 15587V.  12 Ga. semi auto shotgun made in 1963.  28” vent rib barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean up fine.  90% to 95% of the original finish remains on the metal with tiny rust spots scattered on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with little dings and scratches.  Original butt plate.  Action works fine.  Made from 1963 to 1987.  (C&R) Sold For 360.00

R      16.     Ithaca Model 37.  Serial # 575534.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1955.  28” plain barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean up fine.  The finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with some fine scratches, carry wear, and some areas of fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with a few small dings.  They appear to have been refinished at some time.  Ithaca recoil pad with a LOP of 13¾”.  Action works OK.  Made from 1952 to 1985.  (C&R)   Sold For 280.00

R      17.     J. Stevens Arm Model 14½ “Little Scout”.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber single shot boys rifle.  20” round barrel with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with some bare areas, some fine rust, and cold blue.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition and have been refinished.  There is a crack at the butt plate on the right side.  Breech block handle and takedown screw have been replaced.  Original sights.  Action works but breech block opens slightly upon firing.  Made from 1911 to 1941.  (C&R)  Sold For 130.00

R      18.     Belgian Model Flobert.  Serial # NSN.  8mm Flobert caliber single shot rifle.  24½” octagon barrel with a very rough bore.  This is a parlor rifle made in Belgium from the late 1800's into the 1920's using a Warnant Breech Block System.  The finish on the metal is mostly a brown patina with a fine rust.  The checkered wooden stock is in fair condition with some dings and scratches.  It is cracked on the left side of the breech.  A screw has been replaced on the right side of the breech.  Action works OK but is rusty.  (C&R) Sold For 120.00

R      19.     J. Stevens Arms Model 17.  Serial # 2740.  .22 RF caliber single shot boys rifle.  22” part octagon/part round barrel with a rough bore.  A large amount of blue can be seen on the barrel but it is covered with a very fine rust.  The receiver and lever show fine rust but traces of case colors are visible.  The walnut stock appears to be a replacement and is in excellent condition.  The forearm is in good condition with dings.  Rear sight missing elevator.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 150.00

R      20.     Savage Arms Model 23A Sporter.  Serial # 66813.  .22 RF caliber bolt action rifle.  23” barrel with an excellent bore.  5 round detachable magazine.  90% of the bluing remains on the metal with some scratches, some small spots of rust, and some bare areas near the breech.  The walnut stock is in good to very good condition with some dings and scratches.  The receiver has been drilled for a side mount and the stock has been relieved for it.  Original sights.  Action work OK.  Includes a leather sling.  Made from 1923 to 1933.  (C&R)  Sold For 120.00

R      21.     Marlin Model 336 RC.  Serial # AA39777.  .30-30 Win. caliber lever action rifle made in 1965.  20” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  85% to 90% of the original finish remains on the metal with some fine scratches, a few small rust spots, and some carry wear on the bottom of the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with a few scratches.  Saddle ring on right side of receiver.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a Weaver K4 4X power scope in Redfield flip mounts and a leather sling and swivels.  Made from 1948 to 1968.  (C&R) Sold For 425.00

R      22.     FAUL Model The Centaur.  Serial # 5721.  16 Ga. double barreled hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  19 3/16” Damascus barrels choked improved cylinder and cylinder with excellent bores.  Barrels are marked “Troxado Damasco”.  Double triggers and extractor only.  FAUL is Fabrique D’Armes Unies De Liege.  It means United Arms Factories of Liege.  They were a conglomeration of several Belgian gunmakers that came together in 1919 and went out of business in 1959.  The finish on the metal is in good condition but shows small spots of rust on the barrels, trigger guard, and butt plate.  Case colors are still visible on the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings and blotchy finish.  European sling swivels.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R)    Sold For 220.00

R      23.     Hopkins & Allen Range Model.  Serial # I394.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver.  6” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  7 shot cylinder.  The finish on the metal has turned to a dark brown patina with some medium rust and some heavy marks on the cylinder.  The original wooden grips are in fair condition showing wear.  Action does not work properly and the loading gate will not stay shut.  (C&R) Sold For 55.00

R      24.     Lefever Arms Model H Grade.  Serial # 58830.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1908.  28” Damascus barrels choked full and modified with fair bores.  Both barrels are dented.  Double triggers and extractor only.  Most of the original finish is gone and the metal shows some dings along with some patches of rust.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some small dings.  Both show some broken wood.  Original butt plate.  Action works OK and is tight.  Approximately 7,000 were made.  (C&R) Sold For 180.00

R      25a.   First of a lot of 2: Ward & Sons Model Hammer Double.  Serial # NSN.  10 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in England.  31¾” Damascus barrels with rough bores.  Under lever action release.  The finish on the metal is a dark brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm show heavy wear and the stock is cracked on both sides of the wrist.  Action is loose and does not work.  Ward & Sons were one of the many Birmingham gunmakers during the Victorian era.  They were in business from around 1859 to 1935.  (C&R)

R      25b.   Second of a lot of 2: Ward & Sons Model Hammer Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in England.  30¾” Damascus barrels choked cylinder and cylinder with slightly rough bores.  Side lever action release.  The finish on the metal shows some patches of fine rust but it is mostly a dark brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm show wear and the stock is cracked on both sides of the wrist.  Action works but is loose.  Ward & Sons were one of the many Birmingham gunmakers during the Victorian era.  They were in business from around 1859 to 1935.  (C&R) Sold For 190.00

R      26.     Ruger Model 10/22 Standard Synthetic.  Serial # 247-05993.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle.  18½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is the standard carbine with a blue finish and a black synthetic stock.  10 round detachable magazine.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with a few tiny rust spots on the barrel and some small scratches on the receiver.  The black synthetic stock is in very good condition with a few scratches and scuffs.  Action works fine.  Includes a CP Tactical red dot sight.  Sold For 200.00

R      27.     Marlin Model 9 “Camp Carbine”.  Serial # 08696915.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto rifle.  16½” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  12 round detachable magazine although high capacity magazines from S&W will also work.  99% of the factory matte black finish remains on the metal with only a few scratches on the receiver.  The black finished hardwood stock is in very good to excellent condition with a few small dings.  High visibility front sight.  Action works like new.  Includes a Millett multidot red dot sight and an extra 17 round magazine.  The high capacity magazine model was made from 1985 to 1989. R      28.     Riverside Arms Co. Model Single Shot.  Serial # 277EG.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  30” barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  Made by Savage/Stevens pre-1930.  The bluing on the barrel is in good to very good condition with some scattered patches of fine rust.  The receiver is in very good condition showing nice case coloring.  The walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition being refinished and oiled.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 75.00

R      29.     Diamond Back Firearms Model DB380.  Serial # ZE4937.  .380 ACP caliber semi auto pistol.  2¾” barrel with a dirty bore that should clean up OK.  6 round detachable magazine.  This gun features a matte grey finished slide with a FDE (flat dark earth) polymer frame.  The finish on the slide is in excellent condition with only a few slight handling marks.  The polymer frame is in excellent condition showing no wear.  Skaters tape has been applied to key positions.  3 dot combat sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a black nylon Bulldog pouch.  Sold For 240.00

R      30.     Llama – C.A.I. Model Micromax 380.  Serial # 07-0412467-97.  .380 ACP caliber semi auto pistol.  3¾” barrel with an excellent bore.  This pistol was made by Llama of Spain for the Air Force of Ecuador and is marked with the insignia on the right side of the slide.  7 round detachable magazine.  This pistol is in excellent condition showing no wear.  Action is tight and works like new.  Gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the box, instructions, and 2 extra magazines.  Sold For 500.00

R      31.     Erma-Werke Model EM-1.  Serial # 088025.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle made in Germany.  18” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is an excellent .22 RF copy of an M1 Carbine.  10 round detachable magazine.  98% of the original finish remains on the metal with the most wear being some scratches on the receiver.  The wooden stock and handguard have been refinished and are in excellent condition.  Adjustable sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a canvas sling.  Made from 1966 to 1997.  Sold For 350.00

R      32.     Norinco – P.T.K. Intl. Model SKS.  Serial # 6-1512662.  7.62x39mm caliber semi auto rifle made in China.  20” barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  This is a fully modernized SKS with a Tapco green synthetic collapsible stock, flash hider, bipod, scope mount and scope, and a detachable magazine.  Overall, this rifle is in excellent condition with very little wear.  Action works fine.  Also includes a canvas sling and an NcStar 3X to 9X power scope with an illuminated reticle.  Sold For 370.00

R      33.     FNH Model FNX-9.  Serial # FX1U014205.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  This pistol features a black polymer frame with a matte black stainless steel slide.  17 round detachable magazine.  Night sights.  Picatinny rail on front of frame.  The gun is in excellent condition showing only faint wear on the top of the barrel.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original black plastic case, the instructions, 2 extra 17 round magazines, 3 extra back straps, a gun lock, and a Galco leather holster. R      34.     Walther – Walther Arms Model PK380.  Serial # WB057567.  .380 ACP caliber semi auto pistol made in Germany.  3½” barrel with an excellent bore.  8 round detachable magazine.  Matte black finished steel slide with a black polymer frame.  The finish on the metal is in very good to excellent condition with just a little edge wear at the muzzle.  The polymer frame is in very good condition with some slight wear on the right side grip.  Three dot sights.  Ambidextrous safety.  Action works fine.  Includes the black plastic case, the instructions, and a gun lock.    Sold For 300.00

R      35.     Mossberg Model 930 Tactical.  Serial # AF143610.  12 Ga. 3” semi auto shotgun.  18½” barrel choked cylinder with an excellent bore.  This gun features a matte black finish on the metal, black synthetic stock and forearm, heat shield, magazine extension, and a flash hider.  Overall, the gun is in very good condition but does have some scuffs on the barrel and on the receiver.  Action works fine.  Includes a sling, the original box and instructions, a scope mount, and a gun lock. R      36.     Baker Gun Co. Model Batavia Ejector.  Serial # 130333.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  30” Damascus barrels choked full and full with slightly rough bores.  Double triggers and ejectors.  The metal is in good condition but has turned to a mostly light brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with moderate wear.  The stock has been repaired at the toe and the comb has been relieved.  Action works OK.  (C&R)    Sold For 85.00

        37.     Belgian Made Model Hunter.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  33” barrel choked improved cylinder with a rough but clean bore.  This is an early Belgian made conversion of a British Snider breech loader to a shotgun.  The finish on the metal is a fine to medium rusty brown patina.  The wooden half stock is in fair condition with some large dings and wear.  Action works but breech block is loose.  Sold For 50.00

R      38.     Washington Arms Co. Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 324.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  30” Damascus barrels choked modified and improved cylinder with slightly rough bores.  The right barrel is dented.  Double trigger and extractor only.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with some small spots of rust and areas of cold blue.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with wear.  The stock is most likely a replacement as it doesn’t match the forearm.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 90.00

R      39.     American Gun Co. Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 343480.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun.  29 5/8” barrels choked full and modified with fair bores.  Made by the Crescent Firearms Company pre-1922.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with some spots of cold blue and some areas of medium pitting.  The walnut forearm is in fair condition with wear.  The stock is a replacement.  Action works OK.  (C&R)  Sold For 100.00

R      40.     Hamilton Arms Co. Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 3999.  10 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  32” Damascus barrels choked cylinder and cylinder with rough bores.  The finish on the metal is a light brown patina with a few small rust spots.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with a lot of wear.  Extra finish has been applied.  Action works but left hammer does not rebound.  (C&R) Sold For 100.00

R      41.     Savage Arms Model Stevens 94C.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun made in 1950.  28” barrel choked full with a dirty bore that could clean up OK.  The finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with some bare areas and some small spots of rust.  Some case colors are still visible on the receiver.  The wooden stock and forearm are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Forearm is a little loose.  Action works OK but forearm needs to be tightened to make action tight.  Includes a Super X slip on recoil pad.  (C&R) Sold For 70.00

R      42.     Savage Arms Model 23D.  Serial # 201040.  .22 Hornet caliber bolt action rifle.  24½” barrel with a very good bore.  Detachable magazine.  85% to 90% of the original finish remains on the metal with a few small areas of scattered rust.  The trigger guard is bare.  The walnut stock is in good to very good condition with a few dings and scratches.  Rear sight is missing.  Action is drilled for a scope on top and also for a side mount.  Stock is relieved for the side mount.  Action works fine.  Includes a Lyman All American 4X power scope in Weaver mounts and sling swivels.  Made from 1932 to 1948.  (C&R) Sold For 280.00

R      43.     Winchester Model 1897.  Serial # 672616.  12 Ga. pump action take down shotgun made in 1919.  30” plain barrel choked improved cylinder with a very good bore.  10% to 20% of the original finish remains on the metal.  The finish gets thinner as you move from the barrel to the receiver.  The receiver shows heavy wear especially on the bottom at the takedown area.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with many small dings and scratches.  The stock is cracked on both sides of the wrist.  Action works OK but barrel assembly/receiver union is loose.  Made from 1897 to 1957.  (C&R)  Sold For 280.00

R      44.     Colt Model Detective Special.  Serial # B35999.  .38 Spl. caliber double action revolver made in 1971.  2” barrel with a good bore.  The entire metal has been plated in gold.  There are some pits and corrosion in the finish.  The original checkered walnut grips are in fair to good condition with a little wear and a large ding in the right grip.  Action works OK and the gun appears to have not been fired after plating.  Please see the picture to get a better idea of the condition.  Sold For 300.00

R      45.     Rohm Model RG10.  Serial # 784642.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver made in Germany in 1964.  2½” barrel with a good bore.  The black finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with some corrosion and spots of rust.  The ivory colored plastic grips are in good condition with a little wear.  Action works OK.  (C&R Sold For 80.00

R      46.     Taurus Model PT-25.  Serial # DRJ23270.  .25 ACP caliber semi auto DAO pistol.  2¾” barrel with a dirty bore that could clean up better.  9 round detachable magazine.  Steel slide and tip up barrel with an alloy frame.  The blue finish on the slide and barrel is in very good condition with some high edge wear.  The silver alloy frame is in very good condition with some wear.  The laminated rosewood colored grips are in excellent condition showing very little wear.  Thumb safety.  Action works fine. R      85.     Colt Model Detective Special.  Serial # 33412M.  .38 Spl. caliber double action revolver made in 1977.  2” barrel with an excellent bore.  6 shot cylinder.  98% plus of the original bluing remains on the metal with a few small scratches on the barrel, frame, and trigger guard.  The original walnut grips are in good condition with a few dings.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  This is the third issue and was made from 1973 to 1986.  Sold For 725.00

        86.     French Model 1822Tbis Percussion Altered Rifled Musket.  Serial # NSN.  .71 caliber black powder percussion musket.  40½” rifled barrel with a rusty bore but good rifling.  This is the light infantry version of the Model 1822 musket that was updated to percussion in the early 1840’s.  The tang was marked “T” for transformed.  Many of these were later altered again to a rifled barrel and marked “bis” meaning again as in transformed again.  These guns eventually became obsolete and with the outbreak of the American Civil War in 1861, the French saw a perfect opportunity to dispose of the thousands of these obsolete arms to the American government.  During the first 18 months of the war, the US government obtained approximately 147,000 of these from a variety of sources.  The condition of the metal is good with a partial brown patina with portions in the white.  Lock is marked “de Tulle”.  The wooden stock is in very good condition with some dings and scratches.  Butt is stamped “Tulle” and “St. Etienne”.  Action works fine.  Gun is complete including ramrod.  Buyer needs to examine this in person to determine its authenticity. R      87.     Howa Machinery Model M1 Carbine.  Serial # 03078.  .30 M1 Carbine caliber semi auto rifle made in Japan.  18” barrel with a very good bore.  Shortly after WWII during the rearmament of Japan, U.S. Army Ordnance personnel equipped Howa Machinery with the necessary equipment and tools, then trained Howa's personnel for everything necessary for Howa to be the equivalent of a U.S. Army Ordnance Arsenal specific to the U.S. M1 carbines and U.S. M1 Garand parts.  During the period of 1965 and 1966, Howa supplied the Thai Government with about 10,000 carbines for their police forces.  About 1987, approximately 4,000 carbines were imported into the US as surplus.  One of the stipulations was the removal of the bayonet lug.  Overall, this carbine is in very good condition with most of the grey Parkerized finish remaining.  The wooden stock is in good condition with the usual dings and scratches.  The receiver is stamped with the Thai Police marking.  Correct rear sight.  The gun appears to be complete minus the bayonet lug and the action works OK.  Includes the 15 round magazine and the sling. R    200.     Mossberg Model 151M-B.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle.  20” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  15 round tubular magazine in the butt.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some scuffs and a few small rust spots.  The 2 piece Mannlicher style walnut stock is in good condition with some scratches and a few larger dings.  Rear sight missing, front sight broken.  Original Mossberg aperture sight mounted on receiver.  Original rear sling swivel.  Action works OK.  Includes a Mossberg 4X power scope.  Made from 1947 to 1958.  (C&R) Sold For 170.00

R    201.     A. Francotte - Von Lengerke & Detmold Model The Knockabout Gun.  Serial # 64785.  16 Ga. 2½” double barrel shotgun.  28” barrels choked full and improved cylinder with bores that could clean up to very good.  Left barrel is slightly dented at mid point.  Double triggers and extractor only.  This is a boxlock made in Belgium by A. Francotte in the early 1900’s.  VL&D was a high end importer in New York and was purchased by Abercrombie & Fitch in 1929.  Quite a bit of the original bluing remains on the barrels but there are a few small and larger rust spots scattered over the surface.  The receiver was case colored and shows faint traces of remaining colors along with some fine engraving.  The finely checkered stock and forearm show wear but are in good condition.  Original NOSHOC red rubber butt pad in good condition with a LOP of 14½”.  Action works OK and is tight.  Includes a vintage Winchester marked brown leather hard case.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.  (C&R)   Additional Photo's 1; 2     Sold For 1,050.00

R    214.     Winchester Model 12.  Serial # 1330752.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1953.  30” plain barrel choked full with an excellent bore.  85% to 90% of the original finish remains on the metal with some very tiny rust speckles on the barrel and some heavier rust spots on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Both have had extra finish applied.  Recoil pad added with a LOP of 13¾”.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 250.00

R    216.     SAKO Model L 461 Vixen Heavy Barrel Sporter.  Serial # 66833.  .222 Rem. caliber bolt action varmint rifle made in Finland.  23½” heavy barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  90% plus of the original finish remains on the metal with some scattered rust spots on the barrel and some scratches and edge wear on the trigger guard/floor plate area.  The checkered walnut varmint stock is in good condition with some dings and scratches.  The front sling swivel is loose.  Action works OK but the striker is sometimes sluggish.  Includes a Lyman Junior TargetSpot 10X power scope in detachable mounts.       217.     Christoh Funk Model Pinfire Double Barrel Shotgun.  Serial # 13879.  16 Ga. double barrel pinfire shotgun made in Suhl, Germany.  30½” barrels with slightly rough bores.  This is an ornately engraved double using the Lefaucheux system.  It also features an English style stock with pistol grip in horn.  Marked in gold inlay on the top of rib “Christoh Funk In Suhl”.  There is no finish on the metal.  It is a light brown patina.  Relief engraving on the receiver, hammers, lock plates, and trigger guard is in very good condition.  The fancy wood stock and forearm are checkered and are in good condition with some dings and scratches.  Cheek piece on the left side of stock.  Engraved metal butt plate.  Action works OK.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition. Stevens Arms Model Favorite.  Serial # H48.  .32 Long caliber single shot boys rifle.  22” part octagon/ part round barrel with a very rough bore.  No original finish remains on the metal.  It is mostly a rusty brown patina.  The walnut stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.  The forearm was fabricated from a piece of lumber and is in fair condition with dings and scratches.  Original butt plate.  Rear sight is missing.  Tang sight in rear.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 70.00

R    219.     Remington Model 24.  Serial # 130452.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle made in 1933.  21½” barrel with an excellent bore.  Tubular magazine in the butt.  No original finish remains on the metal.  It is mostly a greyish patina with medium pitting over the entire surface.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished long ago and are in fair condition.  The stock was cracked at the wrist and repaired.  Original sights.  Action works OK.  Made from 1922 to 1935.  (C&R) Sold For 160.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
