R       1.      Winchester Model 94.  Serial # 2226016.  .30-30 Win. caliber lever action rifle made in 1957.  20” barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with speckles of fine rust on most of the surface.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with a few dings and flaking finish.  Original sights including front hood.  Sling swivels installed.  Action works fine.  Includes a Universal 4X power scope in a Weaver side mount.  (C&R) Sold For 450.00

          2.     Navy Arms Model 1858 Remington.  Serial #023298.  .36 caliber black powder percussion single action revolver.  6½” barrel with a rusty bore.  Made in Italy in 1977.  The finish on the metal is in poor condition with large bare spots and several areas of fine rust.  Brass trigger guard is in good condition with a small spot of corrosion.  The wooden grips are in fair condition showing wear.  Action works fine.  Sold For 120.00

          3.     Armi Sport Model Kentuckian Pistol.  Serial # 78526.  .45 caliber black powder percussion single shot pistol.  10” octagon barrel with an excellent bore.  Made in Italy in 2009.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition with slight wear at the nipple.  Very good case colors on the lock.  The wooden stock is in excellent condition showing no wear.  The brass trigger guard, lock plate, nose cap, and ferrules are in nice condition.  Action works fine.  Includes the original box and instructions.  Sold For 110.00

          4.     Jukar Model Percussion Pistol.  Serial # 0000337.  .50 caliber black powder percussion single shot pistol made in Spain.  10” octagon barrel with a good bore.  The blue finish on the metal is in very good condition with a few small scratches and some tiny spots of rust.  Case colors on lock are excellent.  The wooden stock is in excellent condition with little wear.  7 silver inlays and a silver butt cap.  Brass trigger guard, lock plate, nose cap, and ferrules will polish out nicely.  Action works fine.  Includes the ramrod.   Sold For 140.00

R        5.     Henry Repeating Arms Model Large Loop Carbine.  Serial # C044375H.  .22 RF caliber lever action rifle.  16 1/8” barrel with an excellent bore.  Tubular magazine.  The finish on the blued steel parts and black anodized receiver is in excellent condition with just a scratch on the right side of the lever.  The walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition showing no wear.  Original sights.  Action works fine. R        6.     Ward’s Western Field Model 35.  Serial # U118711.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun.  28” plain barrel choked full with a good bore that appears to be rifled.  Made for Montgomery Ward by Stevens.  The finish on the metal is mostly a brown patina with large areas of fine rust.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with dings, scratches, and worn finish.  Action works fine although barrel to receiver fit is slightly loose.  Made from c. 1927 to 1932.  (C&R)   Sold For 190.00

R        7.     Remington Model 870.  Serial # 145465W.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1951.  28” plain barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean to excellent.  The metal has been refinished and is in fair to good condition with some large areas of fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings and scratches.  Original butt plate.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 180.00

R        8.     Savage Arms Model 5.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with a bore that should clean to very good.  Tubular magazine.  The metal appears to have been refinished long ago and is in good condition with some small dings and some fine rust speckles.  The walnut stock is in good condition with dings, scratches, and worn finish.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Made from 1938 to 1964.  (C&R) Sold For 120.00

          9.     Providence Tool Co. Model 1861 Musket.  Serial # NSN.  .50 caliber black powder single shot percussion rifle.  32” round barrel with a smooth, rusty bore.  This gun was cut down and converted to a smooth bore rifle or shotgun.  Lock is dated 1864.  The finish on the metal is a brown patina.  The walnut stock has been cut down and is in fair condition with wear.  Action works.  Sold For 170.00

R      10.     Savage Arms Model 219.  Serial # NSN.  .22 Hornet caliber single shot rifle.  26” barrel with a bore that could clean to excellent.  The finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some wear and a few spots of rust.  Case colors on the receiver are very good with some fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with some dull finish.  Original butt plate.  Original sights.  Top tang mounted safety.  Action works fine.  Made from 1938 to 1965.  (C&R)    Sold For 425.00

R      12.     Western Field Model 5100.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  30” barrels choked full and full with excellent bores.  Made for Montgomery Ward by J. Stevens Arms.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The original finish on the barrels is in good condition with a few dings and scattered spots of rust.  Case colors visible on the receiver along with fine rust.  Black painted finish on trigger guard is not good.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and extra finish.  Stock is cracked on both sides at receiver junction.  Original recoil pad.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 160.00

R      13.     Winchester Model 1300 Combo.  Serial # L2825073.  12 Ga. 3” pump action shotgun.  28” vent rib barrel with an excellent bore.  The barrel uses WinChoke screw in chokes and comes with full, modified, and improved cylinder choke tubes and wrench.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with a few small scuffs on the barrel and alloy receiver.  The checkered hardwood stock and forearm are in excellent condition with little wear.  Original recoil pad.  Action works fine.  Includes an extra 22” rifled deer barrel in excellent condition and the above mentioned choke tubes and wrench.  Sold For 500.00

R      14.     Winchester Model 37.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  32” barrel choked full with a very good bore.  The finish on the metal has been cold blued and has a mottled brown appearance.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in good condition.  Recoil pad added with a LOP of 14½”.  Action works fine.  Made from 1936 to 1963.  (C&R)  Sold For 140.00

R      15.     Savage Model 29B.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber pump action rifle.  24” round barrel with an excellent bore.  Tubular magazine.  The metal has been refinished and is in very good condition with a few small marks.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in very good condition with some small dings.  Open sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a Tasco 4X power .22 scope in a Weaver side mount.  Made from 1929 to 1967.    Sold For 270.00

R      16.     Savage Arms Model Stevens 77E.  Serial # NSN.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun.  28” plain barrel choked modified with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with a few tiny rust speckles on the receiver and paint wear on the trigger guard.  The wooden stock and handguard are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Action works fine.  Sold For 160.00

R      17.     Ithaca Model 37.  Serial # 995814.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1967.  28” plain barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean to excellent.  The finish on the barrel is in good condition with some scuffs and thinning finish.  The receiver has large areas of medium pitting and a poor finish.  The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with a few small dings.  Extra finish has been applied to the stock.  RABAR front sight.  Action works fine.  Sold For 190.00

R      18.     Winchester Model 94.  Serial # 3754019.  .30-30 Win. caliber lever action rifle made in 1972.  20” barrel with a bore that could clean to excellent.  The finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some small dings and some fine rust on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings, scratches, and some loss of finish.  Original sights including front hood.  Action works fine.  Includes a leather carrying strap and sling swivels.   Sold For 375.00

R      19.     Remington Model 870 Wingmaster.  Serial # V737499V.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1981.  30” vent rib barrel choked full with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in very good to excellent condition with a few scuffs and small dings.  The gloss finished checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition with some small scuffs.  Original recoil pad.  Left hand safety.  Action works fine.  Sold For 290.00

R      20.     Crescent Firearms Model No. 60 Empire Hammerless.  Serial # 36543.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  30” barrels choked full and improved modified with very good bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The finish on the metal is a light to medium brown patina with some dings and fine rust spots.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, worn finish, and cracks.  Screw missing in the trigger guard.  Action works but safety does not.  (C&R)   Sold For 120.00

R      21.     Savage Arms Model 430.  Serial # 203180.  12 Ga. over and under shotgun.  28” plain barrels choked full and modified with excellent bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal has been refinished and is in very good condition with most of the wear on the underside of the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in very good condition with some small dings.  Flattened recoil pad.  Action works fine.  Made from 1937 to 1943.  (C&R) Sold For 350.00

R      22.     Winchester Model 1894 Rifle.  Serial # 436411.  .32 Win. Special caliber lever action rifle made in 1908.  26” octagon barrel with an excellent bore.  Special smokeless rear sight which is specific to this model and caliber.  Double set triggers.  About 70% of the original blue remains on the barrel and magazine tube.  The receiver shows wear and some rust spots but some blue is visible on the sides.  The lever and crescent butt plate are mostly bare with some rust spots.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Very nice screws.  Original sights.  Action works fine but the set triggers either don’t work or need adjustment.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition. Additional Photo (C&R) Sold For 1,900.00

R      23.     Ithaca Model 37.  Serial # 44288.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1942.  30” plain barrel with a good bore.  The barrel has a Poly Choke installed.  The receiver is stamped on the left side with the “US” and the flaming bomb proofs.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with wear spots and some fine rust.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with a few small dings and wear.  The stock shows stress cracks and missing wood at the receiver junction.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 425.00

R      24.     Remington Model 760.  Serial # B7379914.  .30-06 caliber pump action rifle made in 1980.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  99% of the original finish remains on the metal with only a few small handling marks.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with little wear.  Slip on recoil pad added.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a York 3X to 9X power scope in see through mounts and a padded carrying strap in detachable sling swivels.    Sold For 475.00

R      25.     Iver Johnson Model 55 Target.  Serial # H13857.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver.  6” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  8 shot cylinder.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with wear on the cylinder and scattered spots of rust especially on the trigger guard.  The 1 piece Tenite plastic grip is in very good condition with little wear.  Fixed sights.  Action works fine.  Made from 1955 to 1960.  (C&R) Sold For 150.00

R      26.     Herter’s Model Single Action.  Serial # 66635.  .22 RF caliber single action revolver made in West Germany in 1964.  4¾” barrel with a bore that will clean to very good.  The black finish on the metal is in good condition with some wear on the muzzle of the barrel and also on the cylinder.  The alloy trigger guard and grip frame show a thinning of their black finish.  The wooden oversized grips are in fair condition with some wear and a poor fit.  Rear sight missing.  Action works fine.  Includes a leather belt holster.  (C&R) Sold For 180.00

R      27.     Harrington & Richardson Model 632.  Serial # AU060467.  .32 S&W caliber double action revolver made in 1980.  4” barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  The finish on the metal is in very good to excellent condition with only a few small scratches and scuffs on the barrel and frame.  The original plastic grips are in excellent condition with little wear.  Fixed sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a well worn leather belt holster.   Sold For 160.00

R      28.     Smith & Wesson Model 66.  Serial # 4K56216.  .357 Magnum caliber double action revolver made in 1974.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  This gun was made on the stainless steel K target frame and features a pinned barrel and a recessed cylinder.   The finish on this all stainless steel revolver is in very good to excellent condition with slight scuffs and areas of light staining and smudging.  The Goncalo Alves target grips are in excellent condition with a little wear on the bottom.  Early stainless steel rear sight.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original tattered blue box and some papers.  Sold For 800.00

R      29.     Colt Model Combat Commander.  Serial # 70SC8814.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto pistol made in 1972.  4¼” barrel with an excellent bore.  7 shot detachable magazine.  The satin nickel finish on the metal is in very good condition with little scuffs mostly on the grip frame, trigger guard, and under the dust cover.  There are also a few small stains on the right side of the slide.  The original wooden grips are in excellent condition showing no wear.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original box, papers, and an extra magazine.  Sold For 975.00

R      30.     Smith & Wesson Model 34.  Serial # 103089.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver made in 1965.  2” barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  This J frame revolver features a 6 shot cylinder and adjustable sights.  The blue finish on the metal is in very good condition with areas of light staining and smudging.  The original wooden grips are in excellent condition with little wear.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes a non-original Colt wooden case.  (C&R) Sold For 750.00

R      31.     Remington Model 721.  Serial # 90029.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle made in 1949.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  The barrel has been cut 2” and has had a Lyman barrel band sight installed.  The finish on the metal is in poor to fair condition with small rust spots covering the surface especially at the muzzle.  The trigger guard/floor plate show no finish.  The walnut stock is in fair condition with dings, scratches, and dirt.  Original butt plate.  Sling swivel studs installed.  Original rear sight.  Action works but could use a cleaning.  Made from 1948 to 1962.  (C&R) Sold For 220.00

R      32.     British No.4 MK I.  Serial # EC24186.  .303 British caliber bolt action rifle.  21” barrel with a bore that could clean to very good.  Detachable magazine.  This is an early “England” marked import of an unknown maker.  The metal has been painted black and is in fair condition.  The stock has been cut down and is in fair condition with dings and scratches.  Action works but is very stiff.   Sold For 220.00

R      33.     Winchester Model 1200.  Serial # L1109910.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun.  28” vent rib barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent.  This barrel features the WinChoke screw in choke system and comes with a modified choke tube installed.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some rust speckles on the barrel and some staining on the alloy receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with some scuffs and dirt.  Action works fine.  Made from 1964 to 1981. R      34.     J. Stevens Arms Model 1915 Favorite.  Serial # Y85.  .22 RF caliber single shot boys rifle.  24” round barrel with a rough bore that might clean up better.  The finish on the metal is mostly a brown patina.  There are some deep gouges about 8” from the muzzle.  The barrel has been drilled and tapped for scope blocks.  The receiver and lever are mostly bare with small areas of a brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Front and rear sights.  Action works but hammer falls when closing action.  Made from 1915 to 1940.  (C&R)   Sold For 140.00

        35.     Belgian Made Model Flobert.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber single shot rifle.  22½” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  Uses the Warnant type action.  The metal is in fair condition with a mostly brown patina.  The checkered walnut stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.   It is missing a small piece of wood at the top receiver tang.  Original sights.  Action works. R      36.     Remington Model Nylon 66.  Serial # 2221407.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle made in 1971.  19½” barrel with an excellent bore.  The stock is Zytel plastic in Mohawk Brown.  Tubular magazine in the butt stock.  The metal is in good condition with fine rust on both sides of the receiver and portions of the barrel.  The stock is in very good condition with some small scratches and scuffs.  Original front and rear sights.  Receiver grooved for scope.  Action works fine.  Made from 1959 to 1990.  Sold For 350.00

R      37.     Remington Model 12.  Serial # 212675.  .22 RF caliber pump action rifle made in 1926.  21¾” barrel with a good bore.  The finish on the metal is a bluish brown patina with dings and scratches.  The barrel appears to have some spots of cold blue.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Original butt plate.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Made from 1909 to 1936.  (C&R)   Sold For 325.00

R      38.     Smith & Wesson Military & Police Victory Model.  Serial # V392035.  .38 Spl. caliber double action revolver made between 1942 and 1945.  4” barrel with a very good bore.  The metal has been reblued and is in very good condition with some slight wear.  The diamond checkered grips are replacements and are in very good condition with little visible wear.  Lanyard loop is present.  No U.S. Property marking or inspector’s marks.  Action  works fine but cylinder sometimes closes a little hard.  (C&R)  Sold For 400.00

R      39.     Colt Model Frontier Scout.  Serial # 134833F.  .22 RF caliber single action revolver made in 1961.  4¾” barrel with a very good bore.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with some scratches and wear on the barrel, ejector rod housing, and cylinder.  Front sight is dinged.  The alloy frame is in very good condition with some edge wear especially on the grip frame and recoil shield.  Hammer has some rust on the left side.  The black plastic grips are in very good condition with slight wear.  Action works fine.  Made from 1957 to 1970.  (C&R) Sold For 400.00

R      40.     Colt Model Police Positive Target.  Serial # 36736.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver made in 1929.  6” barrel with a very good bore that could clean better.  Adjustable front and rear sights.  95% or so of the original bluing remains with a little muzzle wear, some wear on the cylinder, and some small spots of scattered rust.  The original checkered wooden grips are in good to very good condition with normal wear.  Action works fine.  This is the Second Issue, Model C made from 1926 to 1941.  (C&R) Sold For 600.00

Stevens Arms Model No. 15 “Maynard Jr.”.  .22 RF caliber single shot boy’s rifle.  18” part octagon/part round barrel with a rough bore.  This rifle features a tip up barrel with a trigger guard activated lever.  The metal has been cold blued and is a light greyish brown patina.  The stock and forearm are in good to very good condition with some small dings and scratches.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Made from 1902 to 1912.  (C&R).    Sold For 140.00

R      50.     Fabrique Nationale D’Armes De Guerre Model Double Barrel.  Serial # 12361.  16 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  26¼” barrels choked full and improved modified with slightly rough bores.  This sidelock shotgun was made by FN in Belgium.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal is in good condition with a thinning finish covering most of the surface.  There is some fine rust on the bottom of the trigger guard.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings and scratches.  Original butt plate.  Sling swivels missing from stock and underside of barrels.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R) Sold For 325.00

R      51.     Winchester Model 12.  Serial # 659740.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1932.  30” plain barrel choked full with a good bore.  Very little of the original finish remains on the metal.  What is there are spots of brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor to fair condition with dings and scratches.  The stock is cracked at the lower wrist and is loose.  The original butt plate is broken at the heel.  Action works fine but the receiver to barrel fit is a little loose.  (C&R)   Sold For 130.00

R      52.     CZ Brno Model VZ24.  Serial # 9983F1.  8mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle made in Czechoslovakia.  23½” barrel with a very good bore that could clean better.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in good condition showing wear and fine spots of rust.  The military stock has been cut down and modified at the grip.  It is in fair condition.  Bolt matches receiver.  Action works fine.         75.     Belgian Model 1853/67 Conversion “ZULU”.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  30” barrel with a rough bore.  This is a Snider style conversion of an 1853 French Military musket and often referred to as a “Zulu”.  Originally a percussion muzzle loader, most were converted to breech loading about 1867 for use in the Franco-Prussian war (1870 to 1871).  After the war, most of the converted muskets were sold to Belgian arms dealers who converted them to 12 gauge shotguns by boring out the barrels and sporterizing the stock. Many were sold surplus on the African trade.  Top of barrel marked “ZULU”.  The finish on the metal is a brown patina with a surface that is rough in some areas.  The stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.  Action seems to work fine. Harder, Williamsport, PA.  George W. Harder is listed as working in Williamsport from c. 1885 to 1890. Model Martini-Henry Mark II.  Serial # NSN.  .577-450 MH caliber single shot lever action rifle made in 1878.  33¼” barrel with a good bore that could clean up better.  The metal is mostly a brown patina with an area of pitting about 12” from the muzzle.  The full length stock is in good condition with some dings, scratches, and normal wear.  Action works OK.  This gun is one of several thousand Martini-Henrys that have been imported from Nepal over the last decade.  The gun appears complete minus the cleaning rod.

      164.     Colt Model 1860 Army.  Serial # 99939.  .44 caliber black powder percussion single action revolver.  Made in 1863.  8” barrel with a pitted bore with good rifling.  No original finish remains on the metal.  It is a slightly brown patina with areas of mild pitting.  The trigger guard is in good condition with a few file marks.  The 1 piece walnut grips are in poor condition with much wear.  1 screw is missing from the brass trigger guard.  All numbers match but the cylinder number which is illegible.  Action functions OK.  Made from 1860 to 1873.       212.     Danish Model 1867/96 Rolling Block.  Serial # 53153.  11.7x51Rmm Danish caliber single shot rifle.  35½” barrel with a rusty bore with good rifling.  Made at the Copenhagen Arsenal in Denmark in 1878.  This Danish rifle first utilized a rimfire cartridge and it stayed in service well into the smokeless era. After the adoption of the Krag-Jorgensen bolt action, the need to update the Remington Rolling Block action became acute. In 1896 they were withdrawn from infantry service, converted to centerfire cartridge and issued to coast and fortress artillerymen.  The finish on the metal is mostly a light brown patina with areas of fine to medium rust.  The wooden stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with dings, scratches, and moderate wear.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  The gun is complete minus the cleaning rod. R    240.     Japanese Arisaka Type 99 Short Rifle.  Serial # 41752.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle.  26” barrel with a very good bore.  The stock on this rifle has been cut and the gun was rechambered from the original 7.7mm Japanese caliber to .30-06 caliber.  The mum has been ground.  The metal has been cold blued and is a blotchy black finish.  The stock has been cut back at the forearm and is in good condition.  Front and rear sights are present.  Action works fine. R    241.     Remington Model 1889 Grade 1.  Serial # 96545.  12 Ga. double barreled hammer shotgun made in 1899.  30” barrels choked full and full with fair bores that might clean up better.  The barrels are decarbonized steel.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal is a light brown patina spotted with fine to medium rust.  One hammer has been replaced and is loose.  The checkered walnut stock is in good condition with the majority of finish gone.  Forearm is missing.  Original butt plate is broken.  Action works.  Made c. 1885 to 1909.  (C&R) Sold For 95.00

      242.     British Enfield Model 1853 Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .577 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  39” barrel with a bore that should clean to very good.  Lock marked “1855 Tower”.  This is the 2nd model with 3 solid, spring fastened barrel bands.  The metal is in good condition with a blackish brown patina and some fine rust near the muzzle.  Brass trigger guard, butt plate, and nose cap.  The full length walnut stock is in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  The stock is cracked at the wrist and there are slivers of wood missing along the ramrod channel, barrel, and lock.  Markings are good on the barrel.  Rear sight missing.  Sling loops missing.  Action works fine.  Includes the ramrod.    Sold For 375.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
