R      1.       J. Stevens Arms Model 417 “Walnut Hill”.  Serial # 1827.  .22 RF caliber single shot heavy barrel target rifle.  28” heavy round barrel with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with the bluing on the barrel being a matte finish with some areas of small dings and wear.  There are some small scratches and some patina on the receiver with the case colors still visible.  The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with a few dings and scratches.  The forearm has some holes plugged and a small area of repair on the bottom.  Schuetzen type butt plate.  Sling swivels.  Palm rest.  Globe front sight.  Tang rear sight.  Barrel drilled for scope blocks which are included.  Action works but hammer follows when lever is closed.  Made from 1932 to 1940.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition. Additional Photo (C&R)   Sold For 600.00

R        2.     Winchester Model 70.  Serial # 317985.  .375 H&H Magnum caliber bolt action rifle made in 1954.  25” barrel with an excellent bore.  Barrel has been ported with 1 port on each side of the front sight.  The receiver, trigger guard, floor plate, and the rear portion of the barrel have been engraved with a German oak leaf type engraving.  A bear has been inlayed in silver on the floor plate.  The metal was then refinished and shows some dings, scratches, and small rust spots on the barrel.  Bolt has been jeweled and the bolt handle is also engraved.  The walnut stock has been varnished and is in very good condition.  Black forearm tip and pistol grip cap added.  Recoil pad marked “Wiesbaden Rod and Gun Club, Wiesbaden, Germany”.  LOP is 13 5/8”.  A Paul Jaeger side mount has been attached to the left side of the receiver.  It holds a B. R        3.     Winchester Model 70 Featherweight.  Serial # 573682.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle made in 1963.  22" barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  The original finish on the metal is in good condition with some areas of wear and rust spots on the barrel, wear on the bolt handle, and wear on the floor plate.  The checkered walnut stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.  The border of the checkering has been recut.  Butt plate has been replaced with a recoil pad.  Stock was not cut.  Original sights including the front hood.  Original sling swivels.  Action works fine.  Includes a Lyman All American 4X power scope in Weaver flip mounts.  (C&R)  Sold For 625.00

R        5.     Winchester Model 94.  Serial # 1864905.  .30-30 Win. caliber lever action rifle made in 1952.  20” barrel with an excellent bore.  The original finish on the metal is in fair condition with fine rust and wear on the barrel along with wear and a brown patina on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in fair condition with dings and scratches.  Original serrated butt plate.  Original front and rear sights.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 350.00

R        6.     Winchester Model 12.  Serial # 549670.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1928.  29” plain barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  A Poly-Choke Deluxe choke system has been installed on the barrel.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with multiple spots of wear and fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in fair condition with dings and scratches.  Deteriorated recoil pad with a LOP of 13¼”.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 200.00

R        7.     Winchester Model 94.  Serial # 1811078.  .32 Win. Special caliber lever action rifle made in 1951.  20” barrel with an excellent bore.  The original finish on the metal is in good condition with a few scratches and small rust spots on the barrel along with carry wear and a few small scratches on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and finish wear.  Original serrated butt plate.  Original front sight and hood.  Rear sight removed.  Lyman receiver sight added in the rear.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 475.00

R        8.     Winchester Model 1903.  Serial # 62658.  .22 Winchester Automatic RF caliber semi auto rifle made in 1912.  20” barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  Tubular magazine in the butt stock which is missing.  The original finish on the metal is in fair condition with some dings and spots of rust on the barrel along with scratches and rust on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished are in good condition with dings and scratches.  The forearm was cracked and repaired on the right side.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Made from 1903 to 1932.  (C&R)  Sold For 200.00

R        9.     J. Stevens Arms Model 17 Favorite.  Serial # N445.  .22 RF caliber single shot boy’s rifle.  24” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  The metal has been refinished and is in good to very good condition with some slight edge wear on the barrel and receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm have been refinished and are in very good condition with just a few marks.  Original butt plate.  Front sight is in backwards.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 120.00

R      10a.   First of a lot of 2: C.J. Hamilton & Son Model No. 27 “The Hamilton Rifle”.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber tip up single shot boys rifle.  15” barrel with a slightly rough bore.  All Hamilton 27’s with short barrels have been exempted from the NFA.  The barrel consists of a brass tube surrounded by rolled sheet steel.  The receiver is also sheet steel.  The metal is in fair condition with a fine rust covering the receiver and portions of the barrel.  The hardwood stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings and scratches.  Original sights.  Action is loose and the gun must not be fired.  Made from approximately 1907 to 1930.  (C&R)

R      10b.   Second of a lot of 2: C.J. Hamilton & Son Model No. 27 “The Hamilton Rifle”.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber tip up single shot boys rifle.  15” barrel with a rough bore.  As stated above, all Hamilton 27’s with short barrels have been exempted from the NFA.  The barrel consists of a brass tube surrounded by rolled sheet steel.  The receiver is also sheet steel.  The metal is in fair condition with a brown patina covered with areas of fine rust.  The hardwood stock and forearm are in good condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Original sights.  Action is slightly loose and the gun must not be fired.  (C&R)  Sold For 150.00

R      11.     Winchester Model 1907.  Serial # 31724.  .351 Win. caliber semi auto rifle made in 1915.  20” barrel with an excellent bore.  5 round detachable magazine.  The original finish on the metal is in good condition with some scratches and fine spots of rust on the barrel along with the receiver being a blotchy blackish brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings, scratches, and wear.  Original butt plate.  Sights replaced.  Action works fine.  Approximately 58,490 made from 1907 to 1957.  (C&R)  Sold For 375.00

R      12.     German Made Model 98 Sporter.  Serial # 25835.  6.5X54mm MS caliber bolt action rifle.  27” barrel with a very good bore.  This rifle features an engraved receiver, floor plate, and trigger guard.  It has a spoon bolt that is also engraved.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with slight wear on the barrel and on areas of the receiver.  The finely checkered walnut stock is in good to very good condition with dings, scratches, and areas of wear.  European type sling swivels.  Fixed sights.  Claw mounts on the receiver.  Double set triggers.  Action works fine.  Buyer needs to verify caliber before shooting.  (C&R)    Sold For 675.00

Pieper Model Single Shot.  Serial # J5883.  .22 RF caliber single shot rolling block boy’s rifle made in Belgium.  20” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with fine spots of rust scattered over the surface.  The walnut stock is in good condition with small dings, scratches, and impressions.  Action works fine.  Made from 1893 to 1905.  (C&R)  Sold For 80.00

        14.     J. Stevens Arms Model Tip Up Rifle.  Serial # 16608.  .32 RF caliber single shot tip up rifle.  26” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  The finish on the barrel is a brown patina with some edge wear and some spots of fine rust.  The receiver, trigger guard, and crescent butt plate are nickel plated iron and are in poor to fair condition with very little nickel remaining.  The walnut stock is in good condition with small dings and scratches.  Made without a forearm.  Buckhorn rear sight missing the elevator.  Action works but is slightly loose.  Made c. 1870’s to c. 1895.  Sold For 220.00

R      15a.   First of a lot of 2: Remington Model No. 4 Rolling Block.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber single shot boy’s rifle.  23” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  This gun has been rebarreled with a J. Stevens Arms Favorite barrel.  The metal is in fair condition with a brown patina and a fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  The stock is a replacement and doesn’t fit well.  A bolt has been added on the bottom.  Action works OK.  (C&R)

R      18.     Winchester Model 63.  Serial # 102425.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle made in 1951.  23” barrel with an excellent bore.  10 round tubular magazine in the butt stock.  The original finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with a few scuffs and scratches on the barrel and on the left side of the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with some dings and scratches in the finish.  Rear sight removed and replaced with a blank.  Action works fine.  Barrel and receiver drilled to accept the J.C. Stevens Arms Model 17 Favorite.  Serial # H982.  .25 Stevens caliber single shot boy’s rifle.  21¾” part octagon/part round barrel with a rough but clean bore.  The metal has been refinished and is in good condition with some fine rust on the blued barrel along with the receiver and lever being a dark brown patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  There is some wood missing at the front of the forearm and the stock has had a large piece of wood replaced on the bottom.  Original butt plate.  Original sights.  Action works but lever is slightly loose and hammer follows when closing action.  Made from 1915 to 1940.  (C&R)  Sold For 160.00

R      20.     Winchester Model 54 Carbine.  Serial # 37191A.  7mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle made in 1932.  20” barrel with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some fine rust on the barrel and receiver along with some wear and fine rust on the trigger guard and floor plate.  The walnut stock, not original to the gun, has been refinished and is in good condition with some small dings and scratches.  The checkering has been removed, forearm tip and grip cap added, and inlays added on each side of the forearm.  Deteriorated recoil pad with a LOP of 13¼”.  Express type rear sight.  Receiver sight was present and removed.  Sling swivels.  Action works fine.  Made from 1927 to 1936.  (C&R)  Sold For 425.00

R      26.     A. Rossi – Garcia Corp. Model Squire.  Serial # R29770.  20 Ga. 3” double barrel shotgun made in Brazil.  28” barrels choked full and modified with excellent bores.  Raised matted rib.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with only some small scratches on the bottom of the receiver.  The hardwood stock and beavertail forearm are in excellent condition with only a few small handling marks.  Recoil pad added with a LOP of 14”.  Action works fine.  Imported from 1985 to 1990.   Sold For 350.00

R      27.     Ithaca Model LSA-65 Standard.  Serial # 650-26039.  .270 Win. caliber bolt action rifle.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Made in Finland by Tikka.  Detachable magazine.  The original finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some small dings, scuffs, and fine rust spots.  The gun originally came with sights and both have been removed.  There is an area of cold blue at the front of the barrel were the sight was.  Left side of receiver drilled for a side mount.  The checkered walnut stock is in very good condition with a few dings and impressions.  Detachable sling swivel studs.  Recoil pad added with a LOP of 13¼”.  Action works fine.  Includes a Simmons 3X to 9X power scope in a Williams side mount.  Made from 1969 to 1977.  Sold For 425.00

R      28.     CN Romarm – C.A.I. Model GP-WASR.  Serial # RB-3543-86.  7.62x39mm caliber semi auto rifle made in Romania by CUGIR.  16” barrel with an excellent bore.  30 round detachable magazine.  This is an AK-47 clone in full military configuration except that it has a vertical foregrip and a scope rail on the left side of the receiver.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in very good condition with the normal areas of wear.  The wooden stock, forearm, and handguard are in excellent condition with little if any wear.  Action works fine.  Includes the box, instructions, bayonet, canvas sling, cleaning kit, spare furniture, and a pouch.  Sold For 450.00

R      29.     Smith & Wesson Model 629-4 Mountain Gun.  Serial # BSW3682.  .44 Magnum caliber double action revolver made c. 1993, 1994.  4” tapered barrel with an excellent bore.  Barrel has been Magna-Ported.  This all stainless steel gun is in excellent condition with the only wear being scratches on the bottom of the trigger guard and a cylinder ring.  Case hardened hammer and trigger.  The original Hogue grips are in excellent condition with little if any wear.  Adjustable sights.  Action works fine.  Includes the original blue case and the instructions.  Sold For 725.00

R      30.     Taurus Model PT 92 AF.  Serial # TJH51493.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol made in Brazil.  5” barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  This is a gun that is similar in design to the Beretta Model 92.  15 round detachable magazine.  Ambidextrous frame mounted safety.  3 dot sights.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition with only some slight edge wear and fine scratches on the front of the slide.  The smooth wooden grips are in very good condition with a few small dings.  Action works fine.  Includes the box, instructions, an extra 15 round magazine, and a cleaning brush.   Sold For 260.00

R      31a.   First of a lot of 3: Columbian Firearms Mfg. Model Top Eject.  Serial # 12932.  .32 S&W caliber double action top eject revolver.  3” barrel with a rough bore.  5 shot cylinder.  The original nickel finish on the metal is in fair condition with areas of rust and flaking, especially on the grip frame.  The hard rubber grips are in good condition with normal wear.  Action does not work.  (C&R)

R      31b.   Second of a lot of 3: Iver Johnson Model U.S. Revolver Co. Automatic Hammer.  Serial # 41859.  .32 S&W caliber double action top eject revolver.  3” barrel with a rough bore.  The metal has been cleaned and is missing the majority of the original nickel finish.  The original hard rubber grips are missing.  Action works but trigger will not return on it’s own.  Made from 1910 to 1935.  (C&R)

R      31c.   Third of a lot of 3: Iver Johnson Model 1900.  Serial # 98651.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver.  2¼” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  7 shot cylinder.  The original nickel finish is in poor condition with flaking and corrosion on the frame, cylinder, and on the top of the back strap.  The hard rubber grips are in very good condition with normal wear.  Action does not work properly.  Made from 1900 to 1941.  (C&R)  Sold For 55.00

R      32.     F.I.E. Corp. Model Titan.  Serial # 286269.  .25 ACP caliber semi auto pistol.  2½” barrel with a dirty bore that could clean up better.  7 shot detachable magazine.  Discontinued in 1989, these guns have a steel slide and barrel with an alloy frame.  The black finish on the metal is in fair condition with many small dings and rust spots on the slide along with scattered areas of wear on the frame.  The black plastic grips are in good condition with some wear.  Action works fine.     Sold For 65.00

R      33.     High Standard Model R-108 Sentinel Snub.  Serial # 2346817.  .22 RF caliber double action revolver.  2¼” barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  9 shot swing out cylinder.  Blued barrel and cylinder with a matte finished aluminum frame.  The metal is in good condition with all of the wear being on the barrel and on the cylinder.  The original checkered plastic grips are in excellent condition with little wear.  Fixed sights.  Action works fine.  Made from 1967 to 1973.  Sold For 190.00

        34.     Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver.  Serial # 9192.  .36 caliber black powder percussion single action revolver made in 1862.  6½” barrel with a rough bore but good rifling.  No original finish remains on the metal.  The barrel, cylinder, and frame are a greyish brown patina.  The brass grip frame and trigger guard retain no original silver plate.  The original 1 piece walnut grips are in good condition with normal wear for their age.  Action works but the gun is missing the hand and the cylinder will not rotate on it’s own.  Includes a heavily worn vintage flap holster and a modern leather belt holster.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.  Additional Photo  Sold For 800.00

R      35.     Romanian Model 1969 Military Trainer.  Serial # V0648.  .22 RF caliber bolt action training rifle dated 1973.  23” barrel with a bore that could clean up to excellent.  5 round detachable magazine.  The crude military type finish on the metal is in good condition with scuffs, scratches, and some fine rust.  The hardwood stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.  Express rear sight with hooded front sight.  Action works fine.   Sold For 140.00

R      36.     Wm. Parkhurst Model Hammer Double.  Serial # 5953.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  30” barrels both choked improved cylinder with good bores.  Top rib marked “Belgian Laminated Steel”.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The finish on the barrels is a dark brown patina with areas of very fine rust.  The receiver is mostly a greyish brown patina.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings and scratches.  Extra finish has been added.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R)  Sold For 140.00

R      37.     Winchester Model 1904.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber bolt action single shot rifle.  21” barrel with a rough bore.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition having turned to a blotchy blackish brown patina.  The wooden stock is in poor condition with dings, scratches, and very little finish.  The stock is cracked at the lower wrist.  Original sights, butt plate, and trigger guard.  Action works fine.  Made from 1904 to 1931.  (C&R)  Sold For 100.00

R      38.     Savage Model 25.  Serial # 8303.  .22 RF caliber pump action rifle.  24” octagon barrel with a slightly rough bore.  Tubular magazine.  No original finish remains on the metal.  It is a brown patina with bare areas and spots of fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with heavy wear.  Extra finish has been added.  Open sights.  Action works but will not lock when cycled.  Made from 1925 to 1929.  (C&R)   Sold For 150.00

R      48.     British Webley Model Mark V.  Serial # 131787.  .45 ACP caliber double action revolver made in 1914.  4” barrel with a very good bore.  Originally chambered for .455 Webley caliber, this is one of the many Mark V’s imported from England and converted to fire the .45 ACP cartridge with half moon clips.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with most of the wear being scratches and wear on the barrel, cylinder, and trigger guard.  The checkered wooden grips are in good condition with normal wear.  Lanyard loop.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 500.00

Sharps Model 1A.  Serial # 19103.  .22 RF caliber 4 barrel single action pistol.  2½” barrels with rough bores.  This is a breech loading 4 shot pepperbox pistol with a rotating firing pin on the hammer.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with the barrels and hammer showing a light grey patina with some small rust spots.  The brass frame is in good condition with quite a bit of the original silver plate remaining.  The Gutta-percha grips are in very good condition with little wear.  Barrel release on the bottom front portion of the frame.  Action works fine.  Approximately 60,000 of this model were made c. 1859 to 1874.  Sold For 350.00

Model 45.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber bolt action single shot boys rifle made in Germany.  20” barrel with a very good bore.  Hoban Manufacturing Co. originally manufactured this rifle, but when George Hoban closed up shop due to poor health in 1949, United Arms had the gun reproduced by a German firm.  The German gun was advertised in the Dec. 1953 American Rifleman, using a small space in a full-page United Binocular ad.  They were offered at $14.95.  Sales failed and production immediately ceased.  They are a difficult gun to find today.  The blue finish on the metal is in good condition with fine rust scattered about.  There are some scratches at the breech.  The wooden stock is in fair condition with dings, scratches, and finish wear.  Original sights but the rear sight is missing the adjustment screw.  Action works but the bolt handle is loose.  (C&R)  Sold For 45.00

R    103.     Colt Government Model 1911A1 Commercial.  Serial # 324827-C.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto pistol made in 1969.  5” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  This pistol was modified by lowering the ejection port, relieving the forward portion of the frame for a mount, stippling the front strap, adding a taller front sight, and adding a Bomar slide mounted rear sight assembly.  The original blue finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with small scratches and wear on the front of the slide and on the front portion of the frame where it was relieved.  There are 2 large marks in the lower forward portion of the frame from set screws.  The checkered wooden grips are in very good condition with little wear.  Action works but safety does not work properly and the trigger bow contacts the magazine and will sometimes not return after firing.  Includes a soft case.  Sold For 450.00

R    248b.   Second of a lot of 2: Harrington & Richardson Hammerless First Model.  Serial # 1060.  .32 S&W caliber double action top eject revolver.  5” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  5 shot cylinder.  The original nickel finish on the metal is in good condition with some small dings and scratches.  There is some rust and corrosion on the cylinder.  Front sight missing.  The hard rubber grips are in good condition with some wear on the bottom.  Action works but locking latch is missing.  This is the first variation and was made from 1899 to 1903.  (C&R)     Sold For 45.00

R    251.     Mossberg Model 500C Combo.  Serial # P337359.  20 Ga. 3” pump action youth shotgun.  22” vent rib barrel with a bore that should clean up to excellent and a 24” rifled barrel with an excellent bore.  The 22” vent rib barrel uses Mossberg Accu-Choke screw in chokes and comes with a full choke tube installed.  The finish on all of the metal is in excellent condition with little if any wear.  The checkered hardwood stock and forearm are in excellent condition with only slight if any wear.  Original recoil pad with an LOP of 12¾”.  Action works fine.  Includes a nylon sling, a modified and improved cylinder choke tube for the shotgun barrel, and a Tasco 1.5X to 4.5X power scope in the cantilever mount on the rifled barrel.   Sold For 290.00

R    252.     Mossberg Model 835 Ulti-Mag Combo.  Serial # UM 358199.  12 Ga. 3½” pump action shotgun.  28” ported vent rib barrel with a very good bore.  This combo also includes a 24” ported rifled barrel with a very good bore.  The 28” barrel uses Accu-Mag screw in chokes and comes with a modified choke tube installed.  Both the metal and synthetic stock are covered with a camo finish.  Overall, the metal is in excellent condition with very little wear.  The synthetic stock and forearm are in excellent condition showing no wear.  Rifle sights on the rifled barrel.  Fiber optic front sight on shotgun barrel.  Action works fine.  Includes 3 extra assorted chokes and a nylon sling.  Sold For 290.00

R    253.     Winchester Model 70 XTR Sporter.  Serial # G1826394.  .300 Weatherby Magnum caliber bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  The original finish on the metal is in very good condition with some small dings and scratches on the forward portion of the barrel along with some fine scratches on the left side of the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock features a Monte Carlo cheek piece and is in very good condition with a few small marks.  Original red rubber butt pad.  Made without sights.  Action works fine.  Includes a padded leather sling and a Simmons 3X to 9X power scope in Redfield mounts.     Sold For 525.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
