R      1.       Russian – PW Arms Model 1938 Mosin-Nagant.  Serial # BH8249.  7.62x54Rmm caliber bolt action rifle.  20” barrel with a very good bore.  Receiver is dated 1943.  This is one of the many 1938’s that have been refinished and imported in recent years.  The arsenal type on the metal is in very good condition with only small spots of wear.  The wooden stock is in very good condition with a few scratches and dings.  Action works fine.  The gun is complete minus the sling.  (C&R)   Sold For 350.00

R        2.     Russian – R Guns Model 1895 Nagant.  Serial # X 1504.  7.62x38Rmm caliber double action revolver.  4½” barrel with a good bore.  7 shot cylinder.  Made at the Tula Arsenal in 1943.  This is one of many that were refinished and imported into the U.S.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition with very little wear.  The checkered plastic grips appear to be new and are in excellent condition.  Lanyard ring in butt.  Action works fine.  Includes a leather holster.  (C&R) Sold For 270.00

R        3.     Remington Model Seven Laminated.  Serial # RR68956G.  .243 Win. caliber bolt action rifle.  18½” barrel with an excellent bore.  The original finish on the metal is in excellent condition with no wear.  The checkered brown laminated wood stock is in excellent condition showing no wear.  Rifle sights and sling swivel studs.  Action works fine and the gun is new and unfired.  Includes a Weaver type scope base and the instructions. Sold For 600.00

R        4.     Remington Model Seven Laminated.  Serial # RR70482G.  .308 Win. caliber bolt action rifle.  18½” barrel with an excellent bore.  Like the gun above, the original finish on the metal is in excellent condition with no wear.  The checkered brown laminated wood stock is in excellent condition showing no wear.  Rifle sights and sling swivel studs.  Action works fine and the gun is new and unfired.  Includes a Weaver type scope base and the instructions.   Sold For 450.00

R        5.     Ruger Model SR9C.  Serial # 336-73852.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol.  3½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a compact pistol that features a stainless steel slide, a black polymer frame, and a 10 shot detachable magazine.  The brushed finish on the slide is in excellent condition with no wear showing.  The polymer frame is in excellent condition with no visible wear.  Ambidextrous magazine release.  3 dot sights with elevation adjustable rear.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original box, instructions, an extra 17 round magazine with grip adapter, 2 magazine base plates, and a gun lock.  Sold For 425.00

R        6.     Taurus Model Judge Magnum.  Serial # KN176842.  .45 Colt/.410 Bore 3” double action revolver made in Brazil.  3” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is an all stainless steel revolver with a 5 shot cylinder, 3” chamber.  The satin finish on the stainless steel is in excellent condition with little if any wear other than a cylinder line.  The rubber grips are in excellent condition with no wear.  Fiber optic front sight.  Action works fine.  Includes the box, instructions, and the keys to the internal lock. Sold For 375.00 

R        7.     Ruger Model Mark IV 22/45 Tactical.  Serial # 401049442.  .22 RF caliber semi auto pistol.  4½” heavy barrel with an excellent bore.  10 shot detachable magazine.  This pistol features a polymer grip frame, ambidextrous safety, threaded barrel, adjustable sights, and Picatinny rails on the top and bottom of the upper.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition showing little if any wear.  The black polymer frame is in excellent condition with no wear.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the original box, the instructions, an extra magazine, and a gun lock. Sold For 325.00 

          8.     W. Richards Model Hammer Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. double barrel black powder percussion shotgun made in Belgium.  29¼” laminated steel barrels.  The finish on the metal is a brown patina with spots of wear and fine rust.  The stock is in poor condition with a repair at the front and some missing wood.  Hammers work.  Includes the ramrod. Sold For 20.00

          9.     U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1884 Trapdoor Carbine.  Serial # 381370.  .45-70 Govt. caliber single shot rifle.  22” barrel with a good shiny bore.  The breech block is marked 1884.  The blue finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with some spots of wear and fine rust.  The walnut stock is in fair to good condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  There is some wood missing at the heel.  Buffington rear sight marked with a “C”.  No sling ring and bar on the left side.  Action works OK but hammer contacts breech block release.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the description.  Additional Photo: One Sold For 600.00

        10.     Unknown Maker Model Percussion Pistol.  Serial # NSN.  Approximately .72 caliber black powder single shot military style pistol.  9” smoothbore barrel.  There are some markings on the lock that could possibly be French.  The steel barrel and lock have been cleaned and varnished.  Brass grip cap, trigger guard, lock plate, and nose cap are in good condition.  Wooden stock is in good condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Action works.  Includes the ramrod. Sold For 200.00

        11.     Allen & Thurber Model Standard Size Pepperbox, Worchester Made.  Serial # 460.  .32 caliber black powder percussion double action revolving pepperbox.  3” barrels.  Hammer marked “Allen’s Patent 1845”.  Barrels marked “Allen & Thurber Worchester”.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with a silvery patina and areas of fine rust.  The original walnut grips are in good condition with small dings and wear.  Action works.  Made c. 1847 to 1865.  Sold For 400.00

R      12.     E. R. Amantino - Stoeger Model Condor II.  Serial # J291600-12.  28 Ga. over and under shotgun made in Brazil.  24” vent rib barrels with excellent bores.  The barrels use screw in choke tubes and come with modified and improved cylinder choke tubes installed.  Single trigger and extractor only.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition with a few very small marks on the barrels and on the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with little if any wear.  Action works fine.   Sold For 550.00 

R      13.     Henry Repeating Arms Model H012M Big Boy Lever Action.  Serial # BBS005578M.  .357 Magnum caliber lever action rifle.  20” barrel with an excellent bore.  Tubular magazine that loads from the front.  The satin blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition showing no wear.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition also showing no wear.  Buckhorn type rear sight.  Gold bead front sight.  Action works fine and the gun appears to have been fired very little.  Includes the instructions and a Redfield Revolution 3X to 9X power scope in detachable mounts.  Sold For 575.00

R      14.     Remington Model 1100 Trap.  Serial # L197585V.  12 Ga. semi auto shotgun.  28” vent rib barrel choked modified with an excellent bore.  Barrel is not original to the gun.  The blue finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some wear and fine rust on the barrel along with some fine scratches and fine rust spots on the receiver.  The fancy checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good to very good condition with some dings, scratches, and wear spots.  Stock has a recoil pad and has been cut to an LOP of 12¾”.  Action works fine.    Sold For 400.00

R      15.     Winchester Model 12.  Serial # 1541499.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1955.  30” plain barrel choked full with a bore that will clean to excellent.  The finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with wear spots and fine rust on the barrel along with some scratches, edge wear, and fine rust covering the sides of the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some scratches, small dings, and areas of flaking finish.  Original butt plate.  Action works fine.  (C&R)    Sold For 250.00

R      16.     Noble Manufacturing Co. Model 420H.  Serial # 31030.  16 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in Spain.  27 7/8” barrels choked full and improved modified with excellent bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The blue finish on the barrels is in good to very good condition with a few scratches and fine scattered rust.  The engraved silver colored receiver is in good condition with small areas of grey patina.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with some dings and small spots of finish loss.  Extra finish has been applied.  Action works fine.   Sold For 275.00

R      17.     Winchester Model 12.  Serial # 1746196.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1959.  28” plain barrel choked modified with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with some fine scratches, a couple of spots of wear at the rear of the receiver, and small spots of rust on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with some small dings on the forearm.  The stock is a replacement and has a recoil pad with an LOP of 14¼”.  Action works fine.  (C&R)    Sold For 290.00

R      18.     Winchester Model 1300 Turkey Synthetic.  Serial # L3144185.  12 Ga. 3” pump action shotgun.  22” vent rib barrel with a bore that will clean up to excellent.  The barrel uses Winchoke screw in chokes and comes with a full choke tube installed.  The gun is finished in full coverage Advantage camo and is in excellent condition with only minor wear.  Recoil pad and sling swivel studs.  Action works fine.  Sold For 300.00

R      19.     Winchester Model 70 Classic Featherweight.  Serial # G372193.  .22-250 Rem. caliber bolt action rifle.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  This rifle features a short action with controlled round feed.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition with little if any visible wear.  The checkered walnut stock is in excellent condition with just a couple of small dings.  Action works fine.  Includes a Leupold Vari-X IIc 3X to 9X power scope in Leupold mounts. Sold For 700.00

R      20.     Weatherby Model Mark V Synthetic Stainless.  Serial # SW002501.  .270 Weatherby Magnum caliber bolt action rifle made in the USA.  26” barrel with an excellent bore.  The satin finish on the stainless steel is in excellent condition with a few small marks at the muzzle end of the barrel and on the floor plate.  The checkered black synthetic stock is in excellent condition with little visible wear.  Black rubber butt pad.  Action works fine.  Includes a Bushnell Elite 4200 4X to 16X power scope in Leupold mounts.  Sold For 825.00 

R      21.     Winchester Model 37.  Serial # NSN.  16 Ga. single shot shotgun.  28” barrel choked improved modified with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with scratches and fine rust spots on the barrel along with wear and fine rust on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings, scratches, and spots of worn finish.  Recoil pad added with an LOP of 13½”.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 120.00

R      22.     Savage Arms Stevens Model 311.  Serial # NSN.  20 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  28” barrels choked modified and full with excellent bores.  Double triggers and extractors only.  The finish on the metal is in very good condition with some scratches and fine rust on the barrels along with some fine rust on the receiver.  Case colors on the receiver are excellent.  The hardwood stock and forearm are in good to very good condition with a few small dings and some worn finish.  Recoil pad added with an LOP of 12¾”.  Action works fine. Sold For 350.00

R      23.     J.C. Higgins Model 101.40.  Serial # NSN.  .410 Bore 3” single shot shotgun.  26” barrel choked improved modified with a bore that will clean to excellent.  Made for Sears, Roebuck & Co. by J. Stevens Arms.  The finish on the metal is in poor condition with a brown patina covered with a fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and some wear to the finish.  Action release on the right side receiver.  Action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 100.00

R      24.     Smith & Wesson Model 38 Military & Police.  Serial # C83664.  .38 Spl. caliber double action revolver made c. 1948 to 1951.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is a post-war 5 screw K-frame revolver with a square butt.  The nickel finish on the metal is in fair condition with some fine scratches, fine rust, and spots of fine flaking.  The hammer and trigger are covered with a fine rust.  The original walnut diamond checkered grips are in fair to good condition showing dings and wear.  Action works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 270.00

R      25.     Great Western Arms Model Frontier Six Shooter.  Serial # GW3699.  .22 RF caliber single action revolver.  5½” barrel with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with wear at the muzzle and on the ejector rod housing, wear on the grip frame, rust spots on the barrel, and heavy wear on the cylinder.  The original Pointer Pup plastic Stag grips are in good condition with some very fine scratches and dirt.  The hand spring is broken and the cylinder will not always rotate.  Otherwise, the action works OK.  Made c. 1954 to 1964.  (C&R)  Sold For 170.00

R      26.     Ruger Model Mark I Target.  Serial # 95464.  .22 RF caliber semi auto pistol made in 1954.  5½” heavy barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  This gun has been modified by adding a full length sight rib with adjustable rear sight.  The finish on the metal is in poor to fair condition showing heavy wear.  The upper is slightly loose in fit to the lower frame.  Trigger pull has been lightened.  Plastic grips are in good condition.  Action works OK.  Includes a soft case, 2 extra magazines with extended followers, and a set of wooden oversized target grips.  (C&R) Sold For 230.00

R      27a.   First of a lot of 2: Iver Johnson Third Model Safety Automatic Hammer.  Serial # 20.  .22 RF caliber double action top eject revolver.  4” barrel with a rough bore that might clean up better.  7 shot cylinder.  The nickel finish on the metal is in poor condition with large areas of rust and corrosion.  Main pivot screw replaced.  The 1 piece wooden grip is in poor condition with cracks and wear.  Action does not work.  (C&R)   

R      27b.   Second of a lot of 2: Iver Johnson Model U.S. Revolver Co. Double Action.  Serial # 30857.  .32 S&W caliber double action revolver.  2½” round barrel with a fair bore.  5 shot cylinder.  The blue finish on the metal is in fair condition with some spots of wear and large areas of fine rust.  Front sight blade is missing.  The original hard rubber grips are in good condition with slight wear.  Action works OK.  (C&R)  Sold For 5.00

R      28.     Thompson-Center Arms Model Encore 209x50 Magnum Rifle.  Serial # 49020.  .50 caliber black powder percussion single shot rifle.  26½” round barrel with an excellent bore.  Uses a 209 shotgun primer for ignition.  The blue finish on the metal is in very good condition with a few spots of fine rust on the barrel and some slight wear on the frame.  The black walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with some small dings, scratches, and impressions.  Sling swivel studs.  Action works fine.  Includes a Leupold Vari-X Compact 2X to 7X power scope in detachable mounts.  Considered a regular firearm and must be registered.  Sold For 310.00

R      29.     Winchester Model 88.  Serial # 182236A.  .243 Win. caliber lever action rifle made in 1966.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  The original finish on the metal is in very good to excellent condition with a few small scratches on the barrel along with a few spots of slight wear on the receiver and lever.  The basket weave checkered walnut stock is in very good to excellent condition with a few small scratches.  Original sling swivels.  Original sights including the front hood.  Action works fine.  Includes an extra magazine and a Leupold VX-2 6X to 18X power scope in detachable mounts.  (C&R) Sold For 1,400.00

R      30.     Browning Arms Model BPS Trap.  Serial # 01036ZP121.  12 Ga. 3” pump action trap shotgun.  30” vent rib barrel with an excellent bore.  The barrel uses the Invector Plus screw in choke tubes and comes with an improved cylinder choke tube installed.  This trap gun features a full coverage laser engraved receiver, a magazine cutoff, a higher vent rib with a Hi-Viz front sight, and a Monte Carlo stock.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with little if any wear.  The satin finished checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition except for 2 dings at the toe of the stock.  Original Browning recoil pad.  Action works like new and the gun appears to have been fired very little. Sold For 325.00

R      31.     Smith & Wesson Model SD9 VE.  Serial # HEP4793.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  16 round detachable magazine.  This gun features a satin finished stainless steel slide and a black polymer frame.  3 dot fixed sights.  Overall, this pistol is in excellent condition showing very little if any wear.  Action works fine.  Includes a black nylon holster and a black nylon magazine pouch with 2 extra 16 round magazines.  Sold For 280.00

R      32.     Smith & Wesson Model SW1911SC.  Serial # UCV8912.  .45 ACP caliber semi auto pistol.  4¼” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  Part of the E series, this pistol is a Commander size 1911 that features a stainless steel slide, a Scandium alloy bobtail frame, Trijicon Novak type night sights, and an ambidextrous safety.  The satin finish on the slide is in excellent condition with little if any wear.  The matte black finished frame and small parts are in excellent condition with only some very slight wear on the frame.  The laminated wood grips are excellent with no wear.  Action works fine.  Includes 3 extra magazines and a “US” marked leather flap holster.   Sold For 900.00

R      33a.   First of a lot of 2: Forehand & Wadsworth Model Electric Spur Trigger Revolver.  Serial # 3254.  .32 Rimfire caliber single action revolver.  2” barrel with a rough but clean bore.  Top of the barrel marked “Electric”.  The nickel finish on the metal is in good condition with some fine scratches and areas of fine rust.  The hard rubber grips are in poor condition with the left grip being broken.  Action works.  Made c. 1871 to 1902.  (C&R)

R      33b.   Second of a lot of 2: Iver Johnson 2nd Model Safety Automatic Hammer.  Serial # C98929.  .38 S&W caliber double action top eject revolver.  3¼” barrel with a rusted bore.  5 shot cylinder.  The metal is in poor condition being covered with a fine to medium rust.  Both grips are missing.  Action does not work.  (C&R) Sold For 5.00

        34a.   First of a lot of 2: Forehand & Wadsworth Model Center Hammer.  Serial # 3188.  .32 RF caliber single action revolver.  2¾” octagon barrel with a rough bore.  6 shot cylinder.  Marked “Terror” on the top strap.  The nickel finish on the metal is in fair condition with areas of fine rust.  The original wooden bird’s head grips are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Action does not work and some parts are missing.  Made c. 1870’s.

        34b.   Second of a lot of 2: Iver Johnson 1st Model Safety Automatic Hammer.  Serial # 20287.  .32 S&W caliber double action top eject revolver.  3” barrel with a fair bore.  5 shot cylinder.  The nickel finish on the metal is in good condition with some small scratches and small spots of fine flaking.  The hard rubber grips are in fair condition with dings and wear.  Action does not work and some parts are missing.  Made from 1894 to 1895. Sold For 25.00

R      35a.   First of a lot of 3: Torkelson Arms Co. Model New Worchester Hammerless.  Serial # 8160.  12 Ga. double barreled shotgun.  30” Damascus barrels with rough bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The finish on the metal is a brown patina covered with fine to medium rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with heavy wear.  Action works but both it and the stock are very loose.  (C&R)   

R      35b.   Second of a lot of 3: Crescent Firearms Co. Model Peerless.  Serial # 221899.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun.  28” barrels with fair bores.  The right barrel is split at the muzzle.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal is in poor condition with a fine to medium rust covering most of the surface.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with heavy wear and the stock being cracked and repaired at the wrist.  Butt plate missing.  Trigger guard is missing.  Action works but is loose.  (C&R) 

R      35c.   Third of a lot of 3: Harrington & Richardson Model Topper M48.  Serial # H21365.  20 Ga. single shot shotgun made in 1947.  30” barrel with a rusty bore.  The finish on the metal is a brown patina covered with a fine to medium rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with heavy wear and some worming at the butt.  Action does not work.  (C&R) Sold For 5.00

R      36.     Japanese Arisaka Type 99.  Serial # 49070.  7.7mm Japanese caliber bolt action rifle.  26” barrel with a rough bore that may clean up better.  This rifle has been sporterized.  The blue finish on the metal is in good condition with scattered spots of fine rust.  The wooden stock is in good condition with dings and scratches.  Original military sights.  Mum is not ground.  Action works OK.   Sold For 110.00

R      37.     Erfurt Model KAR 98a.  Serial # 7303x.  .243 Win. caliber bolt action rifle made in Germany in 1917.  23” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  The finish on the metal is a greyish black patina.  The walnut stock has been cut down and is in good condition.  Action works OK.  Includes a leather carrying strap.  Sold For 200.00

R      38.     Unknown Maker Model 98 Rifle.  Serial # 6881.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle.  22” barrel with a bore that should clean up to very good.  The blue finish on the metal is in good condition with areas of fine rust.  The walnut sporter stock features a cheek piece and is in good condition with some dings and scratches.  Front and rear sights.  Turn down bolt handle and after-market safety.  Action works OK.  Includes a leather sling and a Bushnell Sportview 3X to 9X power scope in see through mounts. Sold For 240.00

R      39.     Ithaca Model 37.  Serial # 371249322.  16 Ga. pump action shotgun made in 1972.  28” plain barrel choked modified with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some fine scratches and fine rust on the barrel along with some fine scratches, edge wear, and spots of fine rust on the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with a few dings and scratches.  Original butt plate.  RABAR front sight.  Action works fine.   Sold For 270.00

R      40.     CZ Model 98 Rifle.  Serial # 140.  8mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle.  23½” barrel with a rough bore.  The blue finish on the metal is in fair condition with scratches, areas of wear, and fine rust.  The military stock has been cut down and is in good condition.  Military sights.  Action works OK. Sold For 325.00

R      41.     Egyptian – C.A.I. Model Hakim.  Serial # 1979.  8MM Mauser caliber semi auto rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  10 round detachable magazine.  Made at the Maadi factory in Egypt.  The military type finish on the metal is in good condition with areas of normal wear.  The wooden stock and handguard are in fair condition with many small and large dings and scratches.  Rifle is in full military configuration and action works fine.  (C&R)  Sold For 600.00

R      42.     Carl Gustafs – C.A.I. Model 96-38.  Serial # HK386621.  6.5 x 55 caliber bolt action rifle made in Sweden.  23½” barrel with a dirty bore that should clean up to very good.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in fair condition with a fine surface rust on most of the surface.  The wooden sporter stock is in poor condition being repaired at the wrist.  Butt plate missing.  Military sights.  Numbers match and the action works OK.  Sold For 230.00

R      43.     Springfield Armory Model 1903.  Serial # 1196832.  .270 Win. caliber bolt action rifle.  24½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This gun has been sporterized.  The polished blue finish on the metal is in poor to fair condition with some scratches, small rust spots, and wear.  The walnut sporter stock is in poor condition with dings and areas of repair.  Lyman receiver sight.  Action drilled for a scope mount on the left side.  Action works but safety does not.   Sold For 260.00

Model 98/22.  Serial # 2525.  8mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle.  29” barrel with an excellent bore.  Made in Czechoslovakia for Turkey.  The blue finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some small areas of wear.  The wooden stock and handguard are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and general wear.  Action works OK.  Gun appears to be complete minus the sling.  (C&R)   Sold For 575.00

                  Historical Note From Consignor: This shotgun was a gift to John Murphy for his loyal service to Wells, Fargo & Co.  It was presented to him in 1915 when he retired.  It is marked “W.F. & Co.” on the right side receiver along with the initials “JM”.  There is also a small inlayed presentation plaque on the left side of the butt stock that is marked “Wells, Fargo & Co’s Express Western Division” and lists a small, non-personalized presentation message.  Also included is a framed personalized letter, his Wells Fargo Services badge, and a gold pocket watch marked “John L. Murphy April 4, 1915” which was presented to him on his retirement.  The gun comes in a Brown & Sharpe wooden takedown case.

Jones of West Lawn, PA.  8¾” barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  This is a hand made single shot break open pistol.  Built out of steel, it resembles a T-C Contender.  The blue finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some areas of wear and cold blue. The grip frame resembles and feels like a slightly smaller S&W target style grip.  Adjustable Micro rear sight.  Gun is marked “Jones 1970 001” on the bottom of the frame and “001” on the bottom of the grip frame.  Action is tight.  Comes with a wooden display case that holds both this gun and the one below.

R    243.     Winchester Model 52B.  Serial # 68717B.  .22 RF caliber bolt action rifle made in 1950.  28” barrel with an excellent bore.  This is the heavyweight barrel with the measurement of 1” at the receiver juncture.  Detachable magazine.  The original bluing on the metal is in good condition but shows wear and some fine rust on the barrel.  The bolt handle and trigger guard also show wear.  There is an elongated slot cut in the bottom of the trigger guard.  The walnut target stock is in good condition with some dings, impressions, and wear.  Adjustable butt pad.  Vaversight globe sight on the front and a Marble-Goss receiver sight in the rear.  Sling swivels.  Scope blocks on the barrel.  Action works but there is no safety.  (C&R)     Sold For 475.00

R    246.     Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall Standard Rifle.  Serial # 116211.  .22RF Long caliber single shot rifle made c. 1918, 1919.  24½” #1 octagon barrel with an excellent bore.  The blue finish on the barrel is in good condition with some dings, scratches, and spots of fine rust.  The receiver is a brownish patina while the lever is more of a silvery blue patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with dings, scratches, and finish loss.  Original front and rear sights.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R)    Sold For 375.00

      247.     Remington Rolling Block New York State Contract Rifle.  Serial # NSN.  .50-70 C.F. caliber single shot rifle.  36” barrel with a rough bore that might clean up better.  This rifle was made for the New York State National Guard in quantities estimated at 15,000.  It features a high, curved hammer spur, an outward protruding thumb lever on the breech block, and a safety locking action that locks the hammer when breech is closed.  The finish on the metal is a brownish patina with some scratches, areas of wear, and some fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  The stock is marked in script “H M Shrady 23”.  Shrady (1871 – 1922) was a shooter at the 1894 New York State Militia Creedmore Shoot and would have been 23.  The number 23 could also be a section or group number.  No inspector’s cartouche visible on stock.  Butt plate is loose.  Original sights.  Action works fine.  Gun appears to be complete including the cleaning rod.      Sold For 825.00

R    248.     Spanish Model 1916 Short Rifle.  Serial # I 9618.  7mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle.  21½” barrel with a very good bore.  No markings on the receiver.  The finish on the metal is in poor to fair condition with dings and spots of fine to medium rust.  The wooden stock is in fair condition with dings, scratches, and lack of finish.  Rear sight is missing.  Bolt does not match.  Action works.  Includes a leather carrying strap.  (C&R)    Sold For 65.00

R    249.     Mossberg Model 835 Ulti-Mag Combo.  Serial # UM 260361.  12 Ga. 3½” pump action shotgun.  24” vent rib barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  This combo also includes a 24” rifled Slugster barrel with an excellent bore.  The 24” vent rib barrel uses Accu-Mag screw in chokes and comes with a modified choke tube (2 & BB Steel) installed.  The metal, stock, and forearm are covered with Woodlands camo finish.  Overall, the metal is in very good condition with a few spots of wear.  The stock and forearm are in good condition with dings, scratches, and impressions.  Action works fine.  Includes the box, instructions, and a Weaver 1.5Xx to 4.5X power scope in Weaver detachable mounts.   Sold For 350.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
