R      1.       Savage Arms Springfield Model 840.  Serial # 147362.  .30-30 Win. caliber bolt action rifle.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine is NOT included.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with only a few fine scratches on the barrel.   The hardwood stock is in very good condition with some small dings and scratches.  Extra finish has been applied.  Sling swivels.  Front and rear sights.  Action works OK.  Sold For 210.00

R        2.     Mossberg Model 44 U.S. (a).  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber bolt action target rifle.  26” heavy barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  Detachable magazine is NOT included.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some scratches and areas of fine rust.  The hardwood stock has been refinished and is in very good condition.  Original Mossberg sights and sling swivels.  Action works OK.  Made from 1944 to 1949.  (C&R) Sold For 260.00

R        4.     Harrington & Richardson Model 1908.  Serial # A348573.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  30” barrel choked improved modified with a bore that should clean up OK.  The finish on the metal is in poor condition covered with spots of fine surface rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  The stock is cracked at the upper wrist and there is a piece chipped out of the forearm tip.  There is also a piece broken off of the left side of the forearm spacer.  Action works OK.  (C&R)  Sold For 25.00

R        5.     J. Stevens Arms Model 26 Crackshot.  Serial # NSN.  .32 RF caliber single shot boy’s rifle.  20” barrel with a very good bore.  The metal has been cleaned and is a silver grey patina with some spots of rust and pitting.  The wooden stock and forearm are in poor condition with dings, wear, and the stock being cracked at the upper and lower wrist.  Butt plate is missing.  Original sights.  Action works OK.  Made from 1912 to 1939.  (C&R) Sold For 30.00

R        6.     Remington Model 760.  Serial # 434153.  .30-06 caliber pump action rifle made in 1965.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with one wear spot and some fine rust speckles on the barrel along with some scratches, fine rust speckles, and edge wear on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with some scratches and areas of worn finish.  Recoil pad added with a LOP of 13 5/8”.  Original sights.  Sling swivel studs.  Action works fine.  Includes a Leupold Vari-X IIc 3X to 9X power scope in see-through mounts and an extra magazine.  (C&R) Sold For 370.00

R        7.     Remington Model 870TB Trap.  Serial # S506525V.  12 Ga. pump action trap shotgun made in 1972.  30” vent rib barrel choked full with an excellent bore.  The metal has been expertly refinished, possibly at the factory in 1980 as the barrel is dated twice.  It is in good to very good condition with some wear on the magazine tube along with some scratches, edge wear, and a few rust speckles on the receiver.  The fancy walnut trap stock and forearm are in good to very good condition with some dings, impressions, and finish wear.  Original recoil pad with an LOP of 14¼”.  Action works fine. R        8.     Remington Model 870 TC-Trap.  Serial # X160806V.  12 Ga. pump action trap shotgun made in 1988.  30” vent rib barrel with an excellent bore.  The barrel uses the screw in RemChokes and comes with a “Trap Extra Full” choke tube installed.  The finish on the metal is in very good to excellent condition with a few small scratches on the barrel and on the receiver.  The fancy walnut trap stock and forearm are in very good condition with some fine scratches, small dings, and small impressions.  Original recoil pad with an LOP of 14 3/8”.  Action works fine. R        9.     Ruger Model 77/17 Stainless All Weather.  Serial # 703-04638.  .17 HMR caliber bolt action rifle made in 2004.  24” medium weight barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  9 shot detachable rotary magazine.  The target grey finish on the metal is in excellent condition with just a few tiny scratches near the muzzle.  The black laminate stock is in excellent condition with a few small impressions.  Sling swivel studs.  Action works fine.  Includes a BSA 6X to 18X power scope in the original Ruger rings. R      10.     Savage Arms Model 220.  Serial # NSN.  20 Ga. single shot shotgun.  28” barrel choked modified with a bore that should clean to very good.  The finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with some scratches and spots of fine rust on the barrel along with fine rust and wear on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and the stock being cracked on both sides.  Recoil pad added and not cut to fit.  LOP is 12½”.  Top tang mounted safety.  Action works OK and is tight.  (C&R)  Sold For 140.00

R      11.     Sauer and Sohn – Herter’s Model 44 Powermag.  Serial #Z 6542.  .44 Rem. Magnum caliber single action revolver.  Made in West Germany by Sauer and Sohn for the Herter’s Company in 1968.  6½” barrel with an excellent bore.  Adjustable sights.  The finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with some edge wear and fine rust spots on the barrel, some wear and fine rust on the cylinder, and some fine rust spots on the frame and hammer.  The plastic grips are in good condition with some wear.  Action is tight and works fine.  (C&R) Sold For 350.00

R      12.     E. R. Amantino - Stoeger Model Condor I.  Serial # J538323-15.  .410 Bore 3” over and under shotgun made in Brazil.  22” vent rib barrels choked full and full with excellent bores.  Single trigger and extractor only.  The blue finish on the metal is in excellent condition with only a few small scratches on the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition with just a few small dings and impressions.  Rubber butt pad with an LOP of 12 7/8”.  Action works fine.  Includes the box and instructions. R      13.     J. C. Higgins Model 20.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. pump action shotgun.  28” plain barrel choked full with a dirty bore that should clean up OK.  Made by High Standard for Sears, Roebuck & Company.  The finish on the metal is in fair condition with some scratches and fine rust on the barrel, magazine tube, and on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with some small dings, scratches, and spots of paint.  The stock is loose.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 120.00

R      14.     Winchester Model 37.  Serial # NSN.  .410 Bore 3” single shot shotgun.  26” barrel choked full with a bore that should clean to excellent.  The finish on the metal is in poor condition with a fine rust covering the barrel along with a silver brown patina and fine rust on the receiver.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Action works OK.  (C&R)    Sold For 190.00

        15.     Jukar Model Single Shot Pistol.  Serial # 004182.  .45 caliber black powder percussion pistol made in Spain.  9” barrel with a good bore.  These guns were sold by CVA and Dixie Gun Works years ago and were available new or in kit form.  The blue finish on the barrel is in good condition with some very fine scratches and some spots of fine rust.  The case colored lock also shows some fine rust.  The wooden stock is in very good condition with some small impressions.  Brass trigger guard, lock plate, nose and butt cap, and ferrules.  Ramrod missing.  Action works.         16.     CVA Model Lone Wolf Percussion Rifle.  Serial # 951424.  .50 caliber black powder percussion rifle.  26” octagon barrel with a very good bore.  The blue finish on the barrel is in good to very good condition with some scuffs, fine scratches, and some speckles of rust.  Case colored lock and hammer.  The black synthetic half stock is in good condition with some scuffs and scratches.  Adjustable sights, scope bases on the barrel, and detachable swivel studs.  Action works OK.  Includes the ramrod.    Sold For 100.00

R      17.     Taurus – Braztech Model Circuit Judge.  Serial # EU6753.  .45 Colt/.410 Bore double action revolving rifle made in Brazil.  18½” barrel with a dirty bore that should clean up OK.  The barrel features a removable choke tube.  Based on the original Judge, this rifle is blued with a 5 shot cylinder, 3” chamber.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with very little if any wear.  The wooden stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition with some scratches on the forearm.  Fiber optic front sight.  Rear sight blade missing.  Action works fine.  Made 2010 to 2011. R      18.     Chinese – KFS Model SKS.  Serial # 1728524.  7.62x39mm caliber semi auto rifle.  20” barrel with an excellent bore.  Made in China at the 416 Factory.  The arsenal type finish on the metal is in very good condition with fine scattered scuffs and scratches.  The wooden stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition with the usual dings.  All numbers match.  Action works fine.  Gun is complete including folding bayonet and canvas sling. R      19.     Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible.  Serial # 46-03963.  .45 Colt/.45 ACP caliber single action revolver made in 1974.  7½” barrel with an excellent bore.  The original finish on the metal is in very good condition with some muzzle wear, a few tiny marks on the ejector rod housing, a few small marks on the frame and some wear on the cylinder.  The faux pearl grips are in very good condition with some yellowing.  Adjustable sights.  Action works fine.  Includes the extra cylinder, the original box and instructions, and the outer cardboard.  Sold For 525.00

R      20.     Marlin Model Glenfield 60.  Serial # 71483781.  .22 RF caliber semi auto rifle.  22” barrel with a bore that should clean to excellent.  Tubular magazine.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with some fine rust spots on the barrel and some scratches and edge wear on the alloy receiver, barrel band, and trigger guard.  The hardwood stock is good condition with some dings and impressions.  Original sights.  Action works OK.  Includes a Weaver 3X to 6X power .22 scope in tip off mounts.  Scope is missing a turret cover.  Sold For 110.00

R      21.     Colt Model 1903 New Army.  Serial # 201980.  .38 Special caliber double action revolver made in 1903.  6” barrel with a very good bore.  The metal has been refinished at some point and is in fair to good condition with areas of wear on both sides of the barrel, on the cylinder, on the front of the frame, and on the front and rear grip frames.  Strain screw missing.  The brown plastic grips are in good condition with slight wear.  R.A.C. inspector proofs on frame and cylinder.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 400.00

R      22.     Franchi – Stoeger Model 451.  Serial # 5006217.  12 Ga. over/under shotgun made in Italy in 1974.  28” barrels choked full and modified with excellent bores.  Single selective trigger with ejectors.  The blue finish on the barrels is in very good to excellent condition with a few small dings, some fine scratches, and a few small rust speckles.  The silver finished engraved receiver is in excellent condition with little wear.  The checkered walnut stock and fore arm are in fair to good condition with dings, scratches and impressions, and some finish wear.  Action works fine.   Sold For 375.00

R      23.     Winchester Model 43.  Serial # 22138A.  .22 Hornet caliber bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  The metal has been reblued and is in excellent condition with just a little wear on the trigger guard.  The walnut stock was refinished and is in good condition with some scratches and impressions especially on the forearm.  Sling swivels.  Rear sight replaced with a blank but is included.  Action works fine.  Includes a Bushnell Sportview 3X to 9X power scope in detachable mounts.  (C&R)  Sold For 500.00

Higgins Model 50.  Serial # NSN.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Made for Sears, Roebuck, and Company by High Standard using an FN Belgian made 98 Mauser type action.  The finish on the metal is in good condition with scratches on the barrel, wear on the receiver, and some scratches and edge wear on the trigger guard and floor plate.  The checkered walnut replacement stock is in very good condition with some small impressions.  Recoil pad with an LOP of 12 7/8”.  Action works fine.  Includes a Leupold Vari-X II 3X to 9X power scope in Redfield bases and rings and a padded carrying strap.  (C&R) Sold For 450.00

R      29.     Savage Arms Model 24S-E.  Serial # N/A.  .22 WMR caliber/20 Ga. 3” over/under rifle/shotgun combination gun.  24” barrels with excellent bores.  Action release lever on the right side.  The blue finish on the barrels is in poor condition with a brownish patina.  The receiver has been painted black and is in fair condition with wear.  The hardwood stock and forearm have been refinished and are in good condition with some small scratches, impressions, and a repair at the toe.  Rear sight has been removed but is included.  Action works fine.  Includes sling swivels and a Simmons 4X power scope in tip off mounts.  (C&R)   Sold For 310.00

Stevens Arms Model Single Shot.  Serial # XD 694.  12 Ga. single shot shotgun.  32¼” barrel choked full with a fair bore that might clean up better.  The finish on the metal is a blackish brown cold blue patina.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with the stock having a crack at the wrist and a repair along with the forearm not fitting too well.  Action works.  (C&R) Sold For 10.00

R      31.     Mossberg Model 835 Ulti-Mag Wild Turkey Federation Limited Edition.  Serial # UM04748.  12 Ga. 3½” pump action shotgun.  24” vent rib barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  The barrel uses the Accu-Mag screw in chokes and comes with an extra full turkey choke installed.  The camo finish on the metal is in fair condition with many scratches and spots of wear.  The camo synthetic stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with scratches and wear.  Action works fine.  Includes fiber optic sights and a camo sling and swivels.  Made in 1989 only. Sold For 200.00

R      32.     Parker Bros. Model DH Grade.  Serial # 109841.  20 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1902.  26” barrels choked modified and full with excellent bores.  Barrels are marked “Titanic Steel”.  Frame size is O with barrel weight of 3-1.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The blue finish on the barrels is in fair to good condition with fine scratches and areas of wear at the breech and muzzle.  Percentage of about 70%.  The engraved receiver is in good condition and is starting to show areas of brown patina.  The only case colors visible are under the lever.  The checkered Circassian walnut stock and forearm are in fair to good condition with dings, scratches, and impressions.  There is some slight splitting in the wood at the upper tang.  Original skeleton butt plate with an LOP of 13¾”.  Action works fine and is tight.  Please see the pictures to get a better idea of the description.  (C&R)   Additional Photo's: One; Two; Three; Four; Five; Six Sold For 4,150.00

R      33.     Hunter Arms Co. Model L.C. Smith Field Grade.  Serial # 9554.  20 Ga. double barrel shotgun made c. 1919.  28 1/8” barrels choked full and full with excellent bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The blue finish on the barrels is in fair condition with dings, scratches, and large areas of wear.  There are some very fine rust speckles on the case colored receiver and some scratches and edge wear on the blued trigger guard.  Case colors are still visible on several areas of the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition but the finish has flaked on the majority of the surface.  Grip cap is broken.  Original butt plate with an LOP of 14”.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R)  Sold For 700.00

Model Hammer Double.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. double barrel hammer shotgun made in Belgium.  29½” “Cast Steel” barrels choked modified and modified with rough but clean bores.  Uses the under lever Lefaucheux system of locking.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The finish on the metal is a brown patina with some spots of fine rust.  The walnut stock in in fair condition with small dings, scratches, and wear.  Action works but is loose. R      35.     Savage Arms Model 99F.  Serial # 1072369.  .300 Savage caliber lever action rifle made in 1964.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in good to very good condition with only some wear on the lower portion of the receiver.  Case colors are good on the lever.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some dings and large spots of finish wear.  Original sights.  Sling swivels installed.  Action works fine.  Includes a Leupold 3X to 9X power scope in detachable mounts.  (C&R) Sold For 650.00

Model Flues Double.  Serial # 205813.  12 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in 1911.  30” Damascus barrels choked full and modified with very good bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The metal has been cleaned and is silvery patina with some spots of fine rust.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with wear and some cracks at the upper wrist.  Recoil pad with an LOP of 14½”.  Action works OK and is tight.  (C&R) Sold For 80.00

R      37.     Thompson-Center Arms Model Venture Predator.  Serial # U050349.  .223 Rem. caliber bolt action rifle.  22” barrel with a bore that will clean to excellent.  Detachable magazine.  The gun is completely covered in Realtree Max-1 camo and is in excellent condition with little if any wear.  Action works fine.  Includes a BSA 6X to 18X power scope in the detachable T-C mounts.  Also includes an additional set of BDC turret covers.  Sold For 675.00

R      38.     Ranger Model 101.8.  Serial # NSN.  .22 RF caliber single shot bolt action rifle.  24” barrel with an excellent bore.  Made for Sears, Roebuck, and Co. by J. Stevens Arms.  The finish on the metal is a brownish patina with areas that have been cleaned.  The wooden stock shows dings, scratches, loss of finish, and wear.  Sling swivel missing in the butt.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 60.00

R      39.     Thompson-Center Arms Model Contender.  Serial # A10414.  .357 Magnum caliber single shot pistol.  10” barrel with an excellent bore.  This gun features the Armour Alloy II finish which is harder than stainless steel.  The satin finish on the metal is in excellent condition showing no wear.  The walnut grip and forearm are in excellent condition with just a few tiny dings on the forearm.  Rear sight is missing.  Action works fine.  Includes an Aimpoint 3000 red dot scope in a Burris mount, several extra batteries, and a T-C soft case. R      47.     Glock Model 26.  Serial # PBC437.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto sub-compact pistol made in Austria.  3.4” barrel with an excellent bore.  10 shot detachable magazine.  The matte black finish on the metal is in excellent condition with some wear at the ejection port.  The black polymer frame has been stippled and is in excellent condition.  Extended magazine release.  Extended slide release.  Glock night sights.  Action works fine.  Includes the original plastic case, the instructions, 2 extra magazines, a flat magazine plate, and a cleaning rod and brush.  Sold For 375.00

        50.     Erma Model 98K .22 RF Caliber Conversion Unit.  Serial # 3816f.  26½” barrel with an excellent bore.  Barrel measures .310” at the muzzle.  This conversion kit is in good condition with some small dings and scratches from use.  Numbers match on the bolt, chamber insert, and barrel.  Correct Eagle 280 and Eagle 77 proofs.  This lot also includes the Erma marked floor plate dated 1937 and the detachable magazine dated 1938.  Floor plate number does not match.  Magazine is not numbered, but both it and the floor plate have the correct proofs.  Sold For 750.00

R      51.     Mauser Model P-08 Luger.  Serial # 1742f.  9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol.  4” barrel with an excellent bore.  Marked “41” above the chamber and “byf” on the toggle.  Proofed with the WaA655 Waffenamt and with all numbers, internal and external, matching except the magazine.  The magazine has the correct WaA655 Waffenamt, but is not numbered correctly to the gun.  Grips are not numbered but are stamped with the correct WaA655 Waffenamt.  The original blue finish on the metal is in good condition with most of the wear being at the muzzle, some on the left barrel side, some wear on the high edge of the side plate, and wear the frame rail on the right side.  There is also some slight wear on the front of the frame and rear of the frame.  The checkered walnut grips are in good condition showing some wear at the bottom.  Action works fine.  Includes a brown leather holster marked “Kimnach U Brunn Kaiserslautern 1940”, an extra magazine (not matching), and a takedown tool with the correct WaA655 proof.  Also includes the capture papers in the name of John L. R    258.     Remington Model 7600.  Serial # A8008577.  .35 Whelen caliber pump action rifle.  22” barrel with an excellent bore.  Detachable magazine.  The finish on the metal is in excellent condition with some slight muzzle wear and a few fine scratches on the receiver.  The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in good condition with some scratches, impressions, and some wear on the forearm.  Both sights are missing.  Action works fine.  Includes a padded nylon sling, an extra magazine, and a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5X to 5X power scope in a Leupold mount and rings.  Sold For 875.00

R    259.     Crescent Firearms Model Excel.  Serial # 28062.  .410 Bore single shot shotgun.  26” barrel choked full with an excellent bore.  The finish on the metal is in poor to fair condition with a fine rust covering most of the surface.  Faint traces of case colors are still visible on the receiver.  The wooden stock and forearm are in poor to fair condition with a crack at the lower wrist of the stock and a repaired crack at the front of the forearm.  Action works OK.  (C&R) Sold For 95.00

R    260.     Sarasqueta – Stoeger Model Zephyr Honker.  Serial # 135169.  10 Ga. 3½” single shot shotgun made in Spain in 1960.  36” vent rib barrel choked extra full with an excellent bore.  The blue finish on the barrel is in good condition with some scattered dings and spots of fine rust.  The engraved receiver and side plates are in the white and show some dullness and some spots of brown patina.  The finely checkered walnut stock and beaver tail forearm are in very good condition with some dings and scratches.  Original recoil pad removed and replaced with slip on pad.  LOP with the slip on pad is 14¼”.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R) Sold For 575.00

R    261.     Sarasqueta – Stoeger Model Sterlingworth’s.  Serial # 145158.  20 Ga. double barrel shotgun made in Spain in 1962.  25 7/8” barrels choked full and improved cylinder with good, clean bores.  Double triggers and extractor only.  The blue finish on the barrels is in fair to good condition with some scratches, fine rust spots, and some areas of thin finish.  The engraved receiver and side plates were originally in the white and are now a silver brown patina.  The finely checkered walnut stock and beaver tail forearm have been refinished and are in fair condition.  LOP is 14½”.  Action works fine and is tight.  (C&R) Sold For 425.00

R    262.     Remington Model 03-A3.  Serial # 3970873.  .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle.  22½” barrel with an excellent bore.  This gun was sporterized.  The original grey arsenal finish on the metal is in good condition with some small areas of wear and fine rust.  Trigger guard and floor plate are a replacement.  The walnut sporter stock features a cheek piece and is in good to very good condition with only a couple of small dings.  Redfield receiver sight and a globe front sight.  Sling swivel studs.  Action works fine.  Includes additional inserts for the front sight.  (C&R) Sold For 300.00

      263.     James Reid Model .22 Caliber Knuckle-Duster Revolver.  Serial # 3932.  .22 RF caliber single action revolver.  7 shot cylinder.  Engraved brass frame.  Marked “My Friend” on the lower left side of frame.  The brass frame was originally silver plated and only a trace of that remains.  The cylinder is mostly a silver grey patina.  Action works.  The brass frame model was made from c. 1868 to 1882 in an estimated quantity of 9,900.       264.     James Reid Model .32 Caliber Knuckle-Duster Revolver.  Serial # 9096.  .32 RF caliber single action revolver.  5 shot cylinder.  Engraved brass frame.  Marked “My Friend Patd. Dec. 26, 1865” on the left side top strap.  The brass frame was originally silver plated and none of that remains.  The cylinder is mostly a silver grey patina.  Action works.  The brass frame model was made from c. 1870 to 1882 in an estimated quantity of 2,900.       265.     Merwin, Hulbert & Company Model Large Frame Single Action Revolver.  Serial # NSN.  .44 caliber.  7” barrel with a rough bore.  Open top with a square butt.  Scoop type cylinder flutes.  The finish on the metal is a dark brown patina with areas of very fine rust and moderate pitting.  Barrel markings are not visible.  Caliber markings on frame are not visible.  The wooden grips are not original and are in fair condition.  Lanyard loop is intact.  Action works.  Made c. 1876 to 1880’s in a quantity estimated at several thousand.  Sold For 850.00

      266.     Merwin, Hulbert & Company Model Large Frame Single Action Revolver.  Serial # 421.  .44 caliber.  5” barrel with a rough bore.  Open top with a square butt.  Scoop type cylinder flutes.  The finish on the metal is a mottled black brown patina with remnants of very fine rust and pitting.  Barrel markings on the top of barrel are still visible.  Marking on the left side of barrel are there but faint.  Caliber markings on frame are not visible.  The hard rubber grips are in good condition.  Lanyard loop is missing.  Action works but barrel is loose.  As above, made c. 1876 to 1880’s in a quantity estimated at several thousand.    Sold For 600.00

      267.     Colt Model Burgess Lever Action Rifle.  Serial # 5140.  .44-40 caliber lever action rifle.  25½” octagon barrel with a rough bore that has good rifling.  Full length tubular magazine.  The finish on the metal is a rough brown patina with spots of fine to medium rust and some areas of fine to medium pitting.  Good name and address marking on top of the barrel.  The walnut stock and forearm are in poor condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  The stock was split at the wrist and repaired.  Carbine type rear sight with a folding globe front sight.  Action functions.  Made c. 1883 to 1885.  Of the total production of 6,403, 2,521 were rifles with octagon barrels. R    268.     Burgess Gun Co. Model Slide Action Shotgun.  Serial # NSN.  12 Ga. slide action shotgun.  30” Damascus barrel with a good, clean bore.  Tubular magazine.  Unique slide action with an iron sleeve fitted over the wrist of the stock which, when cycled rearward, activates the breech mechanism.  The finish on the metal is a silver brown patina with spots of fine rust and pitting.  Company name and address marking visible on top of the action.  Patent date visible on top of the barrel.  The walnut stock and forearm are in fair condition with dings, scratches, and wear.  Original Burgess butt plate.  Action functions as it should.  Made c. 1892 to 1899 in an estimated quantity of a few thousand.  (C&R)  Sold For 825.00

Gun Registration Information

All guns with an "R" before the number must be registered. Licensed dealers must have a current copy of their FFL signed in ink in our files. No modern long guns sold to anyone under the age of 18, nor modern hand guns to anyone under 21. No hand guns sold to out of state residents who are not dealers. Residents of states requiring a purchase permit to buy long guns (I.E. New Jersey, etc.) must furnish this permit. Persons with Curio & Relic licenses may only purchase firearms listed as such by the B.A.T.F. and must provide a signed copy of that license. The purchaser pays any and all registration fees.

Your interpretation of "excellent", "very good", "good", etc. may be very different than ours, when it comes to the description of the condition of these guns. You are the final judge of condition before you buy. Please examine any item you are interested in very carefully and decide, before you bid, if it is as you expected. Always have a gunsmith check a gun you purchased for possible defects. We do not warrant any gun to be in firing condition.

If you see any glaring mistakes in the catalog description of the guns, please inform us of the error prior to the start of the sale. This will allow us to let other buyers know of the correction before any items are sold.

We will now be adding a "(C&R)" designation to the gun listing, to indicate guns that can be given directly to buyers who are holders of Curio & Relic licenses. There may be guns that we miss that are C&R eligible. The burden of proof is on the buyer to show that a particular gun is C&R eligible. C&R guns are listed on the BATF website and in their C&R booklet. Guns that are at least 50 years old also qualify as Curio and Relics. C&R license holders are not required to fill out BATF form 4473, but must still pay the PA state $3.00 surcharge per gun.

And now a few words about antique guns. Federal law requires any firearm, made after 1898, to be registered. Even though a gun looks like an antique, we need proof it was made before 1898 before we can give it to you without registration. Since documentation of guns made by many obscure manufacturers is difficult and time consuming, we may, sometimes, incorrectly register a gun that might be an antique. We regret this error but in the case of a Federally licensed dealer, it’s better safe than sorry.
